About Neville

Neville has been on a harrowing journey and is safe now in a foster home. Neville needs TLC in a quiet and considerate home and the bond you will form will be so rewarding. Neville adores his humans and seeks out affection from them whenever he has the chance. He waits by the door for them to come home and is happy to tell you what he needs. His favorite move is to flop on his back and let his belly hang out. And you'll never have to worry about insects, Neville is a keen bug hunter so bring on the flies! If you have a soft spot in your heart for underdogs, this cat is going to change your life.  Prior to adoption, all cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated, dewormed, deflead, and microchipped. Neville is in a foster home, to meet him please fill out an adoption application so that we'll have your contact information, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible: https://www.thedancingcat.org/adopt

My name is Bentley. My foster parents decided to give me that name since I am a solid 17.5 pound of pure love and my whiskers go on for ages.  I am an 8-10 years old orange male tabby. My human caretaker died and her kids left me to fend for myself on the streets of South San Francisco. Luckily, I was rescued by a wonderful human and am now living in a great foster home. I was taken to a veterinarian to treat my hind leg laceration which required 15 stitches. I was already neutered, but the veterinarian gave me a microchip and vaccinations (FVRCP & rabies). My teeth were also cleaned. I am now very healthy and getting lots of love and care in my foster home.  Based on how afraid I am of other cats, I would do best as a solo cat. However, I do live with a canine brother, and he and I get along really well. I love to cuddle and have been told I’m a couch potato. I am litter box trained and come when I’m called. I will be a great friend to a human looking for feline comfort. I need to be an indoor-only cat. I have tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) which may lead to a weakening of my immune system. Humans cannot be infected by FIV.  If I'm well cared for, I can live a long, healthy and happy life. My new owner would need to make sure I get regular veterinary checkups and promptly address any health issues I might have. If you’d like to be my friend and let me love you, please call Trudi at 925.639.3090. This cat is not located at The Dancing Cat nor have we met this cat; this is a courtesy post and would be a private adoption. show less

Iona is such a unique stunner she stops people in their tracks! With a gorgeously fluffy coat that displays both her Tortie and Siamese markings she commands attention. Underneath all that beauty is a heart of gold. Iona greets guests at the door, offers chit chat when the mood strikes and rubs her face all over to signal that she is ready for affection. When the toys come out she leaps into action and no feather can outwit her hunting skills. Iona's favorite place is high up on the shelf for her cat naps and will want to be in a home with a cat tree or shelves open to her. Iona eyes show signs of some ulceration but the vet believes she has full use of her vision, just gives her more character! Iona co-exists nicely with other cats but is also content to be your one and only.  Prior to adoption, all cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated, dewormed, deflead, and microchipped. This cat is at The Dancing Cat, our adult cat adoption lounge located at 702 E. Julian St in San Jose.  The Dancing Cat is open from noon to 6pm Wednesday through Friday, no appointment needed to meet the cats during this time.  We are also open from noon to 6pm on Saturday and Sunday; appointments required if you want to visit on the weekends. Please contact us to schedule an appointment.  More information about this cat and all of our adoptable cats can be found at www.thedancingcat.org/cats. show less
