He is soooo happy to be off the streets! He melts into a cascade of purring when pet and soon is doing stretches and head butts! He is true kitten at heart and can entertain himself for hours with little toys he makes out if found objects as well as the poodles of actual cat toys in his foster home. He is a true comedian and pure love. He doesn’t have a crabby bone in his round body. He gets along well with dogs, cats, ferret and humans of all sorts! Rescuing one cat won't change the world, but it will change the world for that cat.  Astro and Ramone are a handsome pair of tabbies from two different parts of Philly that had peobably the most instant bond with one another that we have ever seen in all our years volunteering in rescue! Ramone was trapped in July 4, 2018 in East Mt. Airy and Astro was trapped July 6, 2018 in Weat Mt. Airy. They both received their vet work up and neutering on July 7 so were recovering in recovery crates next to each other. Once recovered from their neuters and deemed fit for their first introduction to their foster home, they met and Ramone immediately began grooming the then little Kitten Astro! We think Astro was only 4 months old when we trapped him in the middle of a busy intersection the night of July 6. Poor Astro was one scared little kitten that night! Cars were whizzing past his tiny frame and one nice person nearly ran him over and was glad she was able to stop when she spotted his little form hunched in the light of her headlights! She was able to get help from us thanks to another person who knew to notify us after he discovered her in the road trying to catch Astro. Astro and Ramone love the company of other cats and love to be pet and to play. They are a handsome pair and appreciate greatly their luck in no longer needing to fend for themselves on the streets! Poor guy jumped into a pet sitter's car when it was cold outside and he was shaved to the bone! He had not been neutered but just wanted warmth. His fur is finally growing back! Avatar likes to lay around with the other cats. This little guy is strikingly handsome with a personality to match. He enjoys playing with toys, running up and down the cat tree, and taking long naps in the sun. Caramel even purrs in his sleep! Chelsea is a sweet and lovable little purr machine. She will play if you want to play and curl up in your lap if you want her to curl up in your lap. She is a beautiful cat with big green eyes and gorgeous and cute little white paws. Chelsea loves head scratches, belly rubs, and nose nudges. She has all the qualities you could want in a kitten and she will make the perfect pet for anyone. Chelsea is bonded with her equally adorable brother,  Yuri . Yuri  is a total cuddle bug with a curious side. He is a handsome kitty with big green eyes and a uniquely light tabby coat. He will snuggle next to you and jump up the moment you leave the room to see if you’re doing anything fun. He is happy lounging all day or playing with a toy.  Yuri  is incredibly affectionate and will be the perfect companion for anyone. This lucky lady happened to be on the sidewalk digging in trash for food on our way with another rescue. Took less than 60 seconds to stop open food and put in a carrier when she came running.
