About Sue Bob

Sue Bob came to the shelter when her previous owners had too many animals to care for. When she came in to the shelter, Sue Bob was very scared and under socialized. While she has shown improvement since being here, she still has a long way to go. She will need experienced adopters, and a quiet home, without young children. She will likely hide when initially brought to the home. Adopters will need to know how to slowly introduce her to her new environment, and how to slowly socialize her. Sue Bob loves soft pets on the chin and head, gentle attention such as this will help her bond with her new family. If you're looking for a cat who's super sweet, and are able to give her the time and patience she needs to open up-- come in and see if she's the one for you. Special due to: Under socialized; will need patient, experienced adopters, no young children

Meet Gino. Mister tall, dark and so handsome. While we don't know much about this four-year old's history, it was clear when he came to us that he had a rough start in life. Thankfully, Gino is a very smart boy with a resilient spirit and zest for life....especially when it comes to snuggling. This guy loves love and is happy to meet and hang with just about anyone. If you're they type of person who likes to wind down at the end of the day and chill, Gino is your guy. Yep. He's a 75 pound lap dog. And, if he can't sit on your lap, he's happy to sit on your feet. Gino enjoys walks, playing ball, people watching, sleeping on the couch, bully sticks and tug of war (good luck trying to win---he's one strong boy). With that said, we think Gino would do best in a home without children since he doesn't know his own size or strength. Gino also needs to be in a home without other pets. He came to us with some dog reactivity issues, but has been working through them while in foster care. He's a smart boy and is quickly learning that the world isn't such a scary place after all.Gino knows sit, down, look at me and stay. His foster mom is so impressed by how quickly he learns and adjusts to new environments. While Gino is a big, strong boy, he has a very gentle soul and will flourish with someone who will teach and guide him in a kind, positive manner. Chopped up hot dogs also help. Lastly, we think Gino might have allergies (who doesn't these days?), so regular ear cleanings and Benadryl are part of his current regimen. You can check out Gino's Facebook page if you want to see him in action in his foster home: Gino the Snuggle Bug.
