About Ella

Lucky lady happened to be on the sidewalk digging in trash for food on our way with another rescue. Took less than 60 seconds to stop open food and put in a carrier when she came running. She is now clean vaccinated and spayed and tested neg. She is shy at first but warms up and is sweet, gentle and affectionate.  She would do fine with another cat or thrive on her own.   If you want to meet Ella, please submit an application on our website: application. And if you can't adopt but would like to help, fostering is always an option! Either fostering Ella or one (or more) of our other irresistibly cute feline companions. You can also schedule a play date and meet some of our affectionate rescues by visiting Le Cat Cafe. Schedule a visit today!

Meet Cappy! Are you looking for a goofy friend?? Well then we've got the guy for you!  Cappy is an active, polite, and loving 1 year old boy who loves to snuggle, eat, and play with his favorite toys. He is the weighted blanket of cats. Sometimes he gets so into snuggling that he closes his eyes and falls right off the couch! He would also be more than happy to sleep in the bed with you and keep you warm. Cappy’s favorite toy is a Q-Tip. Yes you read that correctly!!! He likes to toss them around, tumble and pounce on them. One day he found foster mama’s stash and got himself a whole pile to roll around in. That was probably his favorite day. Cappy is a proud member of the clean plate club. Dinner time is his favorite time and he is not above finishing his friends’ meals. Physically, I think he should be named Grandma, as in “Grandma, What big ears you have! What big eyes you have! And what big (nose and) teeth you have!!!”.  He also boasts a thick luxurious coat of fur and the perfect round cat belly! (side note- he doesn't really shed that much). He is also mostly silent but occasionally makes a very high pitched chirp and trill! Cappy likes other cats and would love a cat buddy who wants to snuggle as much as he does. He would also probably do well as an only cat if his human companion is into snuggling as much as he is. He is skittish around dogs for now.   If you want to meet this sweet cat, please submit an application on our website: application.    All our cats are up-to-date on vaccines and ready to go home. And if you can't adopt but would like to help, fostering is always an option!  You can also schedule a play date and meet some of our affectionate rescues by visiting Le Cat Cafe. Schedule a visit today!     show less
