About Sabine

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Nature LoverTHIS animal listing is a COURTESY LISTING - not a 13th St Cat Rescue animal. See information about whom to contact in bio THANK YOU. We need to find a home for our cat, Sabine, as we are leaving the state  in 2 weeks  and we don't believe she will move well. Sabine is a 12-year-old spayed female. As you can see, she is beautiful fluffy cat. She is affectionate and loves to be pet, brushed and talked to. She prefers living in the garage, side yard and backyard. She got along well with our male cat, Simba, as well as our Golden Retriever, Riley. They have both passed over the last 3 years. Sabine is now our only fur baby. She is a bit skittish of new situations and is not a fan of the cat carrier or car rides. She was surprisingly very affectionate with a variety of workmen coming and going in our garage. If you can consider providing Sabine a new home, please let me know ASAP.  Much thanks!   Lori Hill Cell: (408) 202-3991 Email: 4lorihill@gmail.comVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Sister to BisouSisters, sisters,  There were never such devoted sisters  Meet Bella – she is the sister to Bisou These two were rescued at 5 months old. This bonded pair have lived peacefully indoors, happiest balancing their time between napping in safe, quiet places and enjoying time as lap cats - kneading the perfect place on your lap to cozy up and enjoy some gentle pets.  Bella is the more social of the pair and Bisou is her bigger (and more timid) sister, but with a little patience and tenderness she warms and stretches out to soak up some chin & belly pets.  Both are affectionate, but Bisou takes a little more time to build trust with her caregivers. Life at home has changed for Bella & Bisou; what once was their exclusive domain now includes two young children - and the environment they once enjoyed quietly lounging in a lap has become noisy, active, and lacking the relaxed time to love them in the way to which they've become accustomed and crave.  The time has come for them to move on to a home which can provide the peace, pace, care, and kindness which they deserve - so please reach out if you have the right home to offer and can enjoy these lovable sisters. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please contact Janice (janice.frazier@sbcglobal.net) for more information about this pet. Online Adoption Application › Loving and adorable, but very special needsBriar is outgoing, loving, playful and loves life.  He purrs close to non-stop and head butts you for loving.  But he had a perianal hernia and GI tract complications since he was rescued as a bottle baby.  Multiple attempts to help him with vets locally would work for a while, but finally we had to take him to UC Davis vets for another surgery.  This created quite a large vet bill for the group, requires special food, and significant care. Any donation will help significantly, towards his bill, and his on-going expenses. Please help us fund this little guy - - never seen such a trooper in a little kitten, he won’t give up; help us make sure we don’t have to!    THANKS for helping! UPDATE Nov 5 2015, working with the vets we have come up with a mix of canned and kibble to help  Briar's poop firm up some so he makes the litter tray more and has gained some weight in last months.  He had stalled at about 5lbs, but with the mix of canned and kibble we've got him up to 6 lbs.  Also we had a scare when he plugged up with a hairball in rectum - with work we got it out.  But now he gets every meal hairball treatment gel till shedding season is over, and we have trimmed his beautiful tail (sadly) so he will not ingest the long 4' tail hairs.   Still he's a wonderful, happy, beautiful cat!    UPDATE Dec 14 , he is gaining weight and is now up to 4lbs at 6 months of age, yeah! Update Jan 15, 2016- at Vet check he was 4.8 lbs (yeah!) and is now got Royal Canin Mommy and Babycat kibble, as well as canned IAMS intestinal plus food to eat, both easy to digest, so poop a bit more consistant timing and firmer . Update March 6, 2016-  After trying baby kibble with Briar and finding it was a very fine balance to keep him from getting too firm of poop, we have started him on Metamucil in his canned food at the recommendation of UC Davis.   So far we find that is nicely helping to manage the really loose stool. Update Sept 20, 2016 - Briar is much better on Meatmucil and gained some weight as he's able to not have the food just run through im!  Though he still doesn't always make it to the litter tray its much firmer poop and easy to clean up.   He's just a total love bug and he's worth the work! Update August 2017 We have him on a diet of canned food mixed with metamucil and it does a realitively good job firming up his stool but sometimes he still can't make the litter box so he does have his own lineoulum floored room.  And he does get out to hang out in the house when we can watch him to clean up after him if needed.  We did have a scare earlier this month when he had a bout of colitis but the Vet said that can hit any cat and figured it was an isolated instance and so far she is right! Update January 2019 Its a new year and briar is already 4.5 yrs old, wow time flies!  We have worked out a specific food for him mixed with metamucil and he is doing much better about getting to the litter box now.  Still sometimes has accidents but we are pleased that it is somewhat better and if you are looking to help support him the food is Fancy feast (Gravy Lovers chicken feast in grilled chicken flavor gravy).  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please contact Janice (janice.frazier@sbcglobal.net) for more information about this pet. Online Adoption Application › Gorgeous dog-like kitty!Charlotte is a pretty, petite brown tabby with white tuxedo front and white paws. She is a very loving, friendly, active, playful cat, and loves to cuddle with you. She likes frequent playtime and especially loves little puff balls that she bats around then carries with her in her mouth, and also wand toys.  She's a bit of a 'dog-like' cat who likes to be near you and greets you at the door when you get home, and will often follow you around from room-to-room. Her favorite places to be scratched are around her head and ears, and she enjoys kitty massages, and being brushed and fawned over.  Charlotte prefers being an 'only' cat so that she gets your full attention, as she is so bonded to people. We have, with extremely slow introduction, housed her with Briar, a very mellow cat, and gentle dogs but she still needs to have her own space, and it would be required in any forever home. If you have a loving heart and would like a senior, Charlotte would love to join you and your family!  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Reformed semi-feral, learning to like petsGood Kitty is a male domestic medium hair. Young adult.  He is a semi feral cat who just recently got tnr 07/17/19. Updated with fvrcp vaccination, rabies, flea treatment, deworming, and neutered.  He is such a cutie and has potential to be a good indoor kitty. He walked straight into my home after couple of months of me feeding him. He’s ready to be adopted by hoomans, although he needs someone who is patient and loving to help him adjust. He deserves a chance to be in a good home.  He use to be scared of humans, but now he craves human affection. After living outside for so long I believe he wants to be loved and spoiled. He lets me pet him and he likes face rubs. He also lets me comb him and he’s likes to walk around and explore rather than hide in corners.  Attention cat lovers: Need someone who is experienced with semi feral cats because it will take awhile for them to slowly adjust and bond with their new owner. Not sure but I think he was abandon (seen him around for almost a year) but he is nice and not really feral.   Adopting a semi feral isn’t an easy task, but will be worth it in the end. Please give him a chance~ If you would like to meet this good kitty, please contact youknowitstrieu@gmail.com THIS animal listing is a COURTESY LISTING - not a 13th St Cat Rescue animal.
