About Bruno

Adoption Fee: $220.00

Bruno is a beagle mix approximately 5 years old.

He is neutered up to date on his vaccinations and microchipped. He weighs approximately 25 lb . He is a special needs boy. He has anxiety about meeting strangers. His perfect home would be, a quiet mature home, with a secure fenced yard, not a lot of socializing with company, a smaller buddy preferably female, and a new momma. Men scare him. His reaction to strangers is to bark. And keep barking til the scarey things go away. The best part of Bruno is that once he is settled in he is a total lovebug. He doesn't just snuggle with you, he is velcro. He looks at you with loving eyes and just wants to be by you. He's extremely strong and quick. He likes to bolt out the door instead of just walking out. He's a unique little guy and is looking for a new mama that will accept him just the way he is. If you're interested in Bruno please contact Alternative Humane Society.

He's happy and loves to play outside. He is a Barker! No apartments or condos sorry.

If you're interested in Bruno and would like to meet him contact Alternative Humane Society by filling out a statement of interest.

Hi, my name is Max I am a small to medium mixed breed, approximately six months old and I weigh about 20 pounds. Max is a very shy/timid dog he is a perfect example of why you should socialize puppies in all aspects of daily life at a young age. Max was not socialized in his younger months so he’s very shy with humans and strange places, he’s great with dogs so long as they don’t bully him. He will need a dog companion in his new home, one that is willing to share his family with Max. Only homes with securely fenced yards will be considered. Once he comes to trust you Max is a lover....Loves to snuggle,  Loves to play and he would Love to sleep in bed with you. If you let him. He is a smart boy and has quickly learned the house rules. Also knows ‘sit’ and ‘wait’ is getting better with ‘off’ and is learning to ring the bells to go outside. We have had very few accidents in the house. And when he has had one he uses the wee pad. He’s a good boy. Max is not destructive, he does need something to chew on because he has puppy teeth. He has been left in the house 4-5 hours with no accidents and no destructive behavior. Max is a sweet little dog who will melt your heart. He wants the attention of his people he’s just not sure how to ask for it and then it seems he’s not sure how to except it.  He has no aggressive tendencies. I have not had him around any small children, but I feel that they’re fast movements, or trying to  corner him would not be a good environment for Max. So my recommendation would be no children under 10 yr old. His new family will need to have lots of patients and be willing to work with and give him time to come out of his shell. His training needs to to be all positive based. show less
