About Milo

Adoption Fee: $200

Meet Milo, an ultra-affectionate Jack Russell Terrier mix weighing 17 pounds! Milo is eager to find his forever family to join him on long walks through parks, on sidewalks, or just about anywhere that’s outside. He is 8-9 years old, neutered, up-to-date on shots, house trained, and crate trained. We’ve found that Milo’s last master didn’t quite teach him verbal commands, but he is quickly learning new commands like come and sit in his foster home. It shouldn’t be too difficult to teach this pup a few new tricks! Milo is as pure-spirited as they come and enjoys the simple joys of neck scratches and face rubs. Medium to long walks are essential for premium happiness, and he doesn’t pay any mind to cats. We haven’t had Milo around dogs or children so but that can be arranged! Milo has nothing but love to give, and that’s all he wants in return from his forever home. His adoption fee is $200, and you can apply to adopt Milo at

Hi! My name is Billy but my foster mom calls me Silly Billy! She tells me I’m a very special pup because although I may have had a rough start to life, I still love with all my heart. I started out way down in Louisiana. When the nice people from the shelter saved me from living all my whole life on the end of a chain, I was so skinny and scared! They took really good care of me until Hearts of Hope Dog Rescue in Michigan took over, and I began a brand new life up here in the north. I feel and look so much better now! All I need is my very own forever home. I do have some requirements for my family however. I’m pretty picky about the dogs I like, so I probably should be an only dog. I love cats way too much, and play too rough, so it's not a good idea for me to be around them. I need a fenced in yard for my own safety and the safety of my future family. I’d never want my family hurt by chasing me into traffic or something else just as scary. My people are my whole world! I’m also still a puppy; or at least I think I am. I am only about a year old and really need my future family to be 100% committed to doing training classes with me. I’m really smart and pick things up fast so I’d love learning new things with them. I've learned so much already with my foster folks! I am neutered, microchipped and up to date on my vaccines. I am so ready to go home. My adoption fee is only $200. show less
