About Stormi

Adoption Fee: $400

Stormi is a 8ish-year-old, 14 lb schnazuer mix (maybe some dachshund?). This sweet girl is a ball of uber-friendly active, well-behaved and loving scruff! With her big soulful eyes and her droopy ears and beard, she looks like a dog from an old Disney movie who gets lost, had an adventure, and then ends up in a loving home with her new family sleeping by the fire on a huge pillow. That could be you!

Stormi loves her people and always wants to be in sight of them, so if you're a household of more than one, she will always be trying to find the best spot to lie down and keep an eye on everyone. She also sleeps in her own bed at night and spends a lot of time in the various beds around the house instead of getting up on the sofa. She is getting along really well with her grumpy foster brother and knows when to give him space. She LOVES her walks and bounds into the air when you pick up her leash and trots like a pro on the street. She is fully housetrained, enjoys a house full of people, greets everyone who stops on the street with an offer to pet her and loves other dogs. Hold on tight to that leash, because she wants to say hello to everyone!

Received rabies, da2pp, bordatella vaccines. Heartworm negative, microchipped, and spayed.

Buddy is 3ish-years, 55-pounds male loveable mix. He was found a month ago, emaciated and tied up outside in the rain for days. After a month in the city shelter, he's now in our foster care. Poor Buddy had mange and a severe painful skin infection (treated at the shelter). Now that he is feeling better, this sweet jokester loves to play with his tennis balls and Kong toy. Buddy is learning to fetch, and is happy to run and get the ball, though hasn’t yet grasped bringing the object back - he seems to think it's the humans job to chase him for the toy! While out taking a stroll, he prefers to hold onto his leash as though he is “walking” himself. Buddy the goofball is not quite aware of his size and considers himself a lap dog. He is oh so handsome, with four white socks, a freckled nose, and the cutest white tip of a tail. This boy gets along well with his foster siblings - small dog and cat - and at the shelther - he was also fine with the other dogs. However, Buddy prefers human affection/companionship rather than hanging with other four-pawwed beings. He's also housetrained! Vaccinated for rabies, 1 round (needs booster) of dhpp, bordetella. Microchipped and heartworm negative. In process of being evaluated to see if he can get neutered.  Please contact us DIRECTLY using the instructions below if you are interested in adopting one of our Waggytails! Burrito - more affectionately known as Cranky Roy - is an 8ish-year old, 12-pound chihuahua (jack russell/rat terrier?) mix. Roy is a cute little bow-legged guy with chunky feet, but cranky hence his name. Cranky Roy is house-trained and takes about 4 walks - well more like waddles - a day but he LOVES being outside. Outside, he runs around playing 'tag you're it' both with humans and other dogs. He can be very sweet, but needs a patient family who respects his boundaries and gives him space when he demands it. Roy loves snacking on fresh vegetables and enjoys the occasional dorito (because they're named after him). He can be needy of attention and climbs on you for pets and rubs, but if you are busy, he happily uses your feet as his own personal scratching post. At this time, we would not recommend a home with kids. Received rabies, da2pp, bordatella vaccines. Heartworm negative, microchipped, and neutered.
