About Sandy

Sandy was rescued from the euthanasia list at Riverside shelter because she was brought in on a choke stick scared to death.  She was in the adoptable section of the shelter and kenneled with other dogs.

Sandy is approximately 4 years and weighs 27 lbs.  We believe her breed to be a Border Collie/Spaniel Mix.  She is very petite and her coat is soft as silk.  Sandys foster mom says she is shy at first, however she quickly warms up and is very sweet and friendly. She wams up quicker to females, however if you give her some time and space she has no problems with males.  Sandy walks great on a leash, very calm personality, does not mind other dogs and seems to be house trained.  This girl would make a PERFECT companion/therapy dog. She stays by her foster moms side and is very loyal. She is a very happy dog.

If you are wanting to add this darling little girl to your home, you can submit an adoption application here: http://petstablished.com/adoption_form/4362/generic
