Hi! My name is Bradley and I am three and a half years old. My foster mom says that I am sweet and very smart! I have a lot of energy and I love to play. My new nickname is Prancer because I prance around the backyard like a show pony with my foster siblings. While I appear to be a confident guy I am a little insecure. Sometimes I startle easily and I am very aware of what is going on around me. I also really enjoy things that I view as high value (the couch, my tennis ball, and peanut butter filled Kongs). I enjoy them so much that sometimes I will guard them for fear that they will be taken away from me. Foster mom has been working with me on these things and she says that I am doing great! I do enjoy the company of other dogs and have been integrated into the pack in my foster home. I have a rough play style and sometimes I can go overboard when I get too excited. I am learning how to control my impulses and I would be best paired with a female dog who won’t tolerate my guff but will also be patient with me and show me the ropes in my new forever home. I know some commands (sit, wait, and paw) and I will come when you call me in a controlled setting. I am highly food motivated and I have heard that this really helps with my training. I adore people and am very eager to please. My new family would have to help me to continue to be the best Bradley that I can be. I will need continued training and structure, but I am so worth it!
