Butch is a 3-year-old Beagle mix and he is simply put, Amazing! This guy weighs 30 pounds and is Black and Tan. His markings are especially beautiful, lending to a depth in his expression that pulls you right in - simply breathtaking.

Butch came to Mostly Muttz through the prison system. He was part of a program where he had one-on-one attention from an inmate handler, who was appointed to Butch as a trainer. The beauty of this program is that he learned commands as his handler built confidence. Helping the dogs from this program find their furever homes is a Privilege Mostly Muttz is Grateful to have. Butch's adopter will be provided with a complete list of the commands he has learned and additional details from his handler.

This 3-year-old Brown Beauty is Belle. The petite pittie pooch is 50 pounds and is an absolute dream. She looks to her people for love and reassurance because Belle is a bit shy. This may explain why she is a cuddler extraordinaire! There is one thing Belle likes as much as hugs - toys! She loves toys. She loves to chase a toy or ball thrown for her but has not quite mastered the ‘return’ of fetch yet. So cute! Belle is comfortable both inside and outside. She walks well on a leash and loves to greet people in her neighborhood, though she is still very shy when initially meeting them. Her confidence has been building while in her new foster home. In fact, Belle has been attending outdoor martial arts classes with her foster mom. It is really helping her learn to trust people. It does take a bit longer with the men. While in foster, Belle has begun to learn about stairs, and she is really starting to get the hang of them. Occasionally, this little darling will nibble on a pillow or blanket near her face but her foster redirects the behavior, working to help Belle learn what is off limits. She enjoys leaning against her peeps, and likes a good belly rub. Belle is just such a love. She is a terrific dog and she is ready to be a part of YOUR family. Do you have a soft spot in your heart and your home for Belle? You can apply to adopt Belle at  Additional adoption criteria:  Any children in the home must be 12 years of age or older. show less
