About Camilla

Oh Camila, you are a little piggy playing in the mud.  This little girl is a clown with her big smile and happy go lucky attitude.  Who could resist that face?

While this beautiful girl has healed on the outside and looks so beautiful, she still has some healing to do on the inside from her previously neglected life.  She is sweet but takes a little time to earn her trust and love.  But we all know once you do, there is nothing better than a dog so devoted, loyal and thankful for the love and safe life they have now.

Found dumped with a few belongings and a blanket in a alley.  She would not leave far from the blanket as that is the only thing she knows.  Scared, cold, wet, hurt and unsure what to do next this poor girl needed help immediately.  We are getting her all checked out as she has fleas, worms, gashes and very scared.  She is sweet and shown no aggression.

All Dallas DogRRR adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Admiral is a handsome fellow, both blind and deaf but his handicaps do not hold him back.  He is loving and inquisitive and enjoys feeling the wind in his fur and the sun on his face.  Admiral needs a very special home. Blind and Deaf but he doesn’t let that define him! He is playful, cuddly, loving, trusting, goofy, handsome, and searching for his forever home - someone special to love him, care for him, and be patient with him. Admiral is such a good boy. He’s low maintenance and such a happy boy.  So sweet and soft and looking for his furever home! Admiral is adjusting amazingly well in his foster home, since found, in shelter, 12 hour transport he was a little confused on what was going on but with quick learning techniques from foster to help Admiral relax and get comfortable; he is thriving and loving the safe life!  He's even enjoying outside play time; playing with other resident dogs...what an amazing, resilent dog.  You would barely know he is blind; he gets around so well and has this amazing instinct. Admiral was found dumped in a yard, he looked bad at first sight, finders didn't know if someone had done this to him.  After a thorough vet check, it seems he may have been attacked by dogs.  As best we can tell he is blind and deaf, but he is sweet and adjusting very well.  He is around 4 years old and 55 pounds.   All Dallas DogRRR adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption.  The standard minimum donation for puppies is $300, dogs over 12 months is $200 and for our senior dogs $100.  You can view all the adoptable pets and fill out an adoption application online on our website at http://dallasdogrrr.org.  For more information, you can email adopt@dallasdogrrr.org. Sweet Alice was found as a stray! She is blind and partially deaf, she has an inginual hernia a condition in which the abdominal contents protrude through the inguinal canal or inguinal ring, an opening which occurs in the muscle wall in the groin area. This sadly is NOT treatable for her since she has had this for so long many blood vessels have formed in what I call the black hole, in addition her colon goes through this as well which make the surgery impossible. In addition she is cover in mammary tumors 💔! A simple spay and the hernia surgery when she was younger could of saved her life! She will be treated in our care and get all the love and affection she needs until it is her time! She will be treated like a princess! Alice is a 10 year old chihuahua, weighs 5 pounds found miserable in a local shelter.  She has a unginual hernia, blind, bad teeth, partially deaf & has raw spot she has been chewing on on her rump area.  Poor sweet girl deserved and needed some relief and we are glad we are able to provide that for her so she can live her better part of her life feeling better. All Dallas DogRRR adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Autumn, saved in the nick of time.  Sweet little one was in loud kennel by herself about to give birth to 10 puppies.  When a saint came along to bring her home to the peace and quiet of their home for her to have her babies.  Puppies were born on October 16, 2017.  Momma took good care of her babies and all have been adopted and living the high life.  Autumn is ready to find her furever home now.  She is very sweet and calm.  She is a bit shy at first, it takes her a little time to warm up to her surrounding, we are thinking she had a pretty rough life up to her arrival in the shelter.  But with your patience and love, in turn you will get a loyal and loving companion. Autumn is around 4 years old and 45 pounds.  She is so sweet and has learned how to become a dog and enjoy life now with the comforts of a good home. All Dallas DogRRR adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. The standard minimum donation for puppies is $300, dogs over 12 months is $200 and for our senior dogs $100. We got an urgent call from the shelter before close that Baby had been surrendered by her owner in the field due her condition. She was infested with fleas and flea feces covered her ears. She is a spayed,  7 yr. old black and white schnauzer; you could still see some remnants of her schnauzer cut. She had extreme hair loss due to flea dermatitis and an eye infection. One of our volunteers raced to the shelter prior to closing to save her. We were shocked when we received her medical records, they had a 2015 intake picture of her and she is gorgeous! That means she was adopted in great shape in 2015 and her condition had deteriorated recently; we do not know what happened in between. She is now in her foster home where we are getting to know her better. Her foster mom is reporting that she is just a delight. She is playful, loving and loves sitting on cushions and laps!  She doesn’t seem to mind cats and enjoys the resident dogs and walks beautifully on a leash. Once Baby is medically cleared, she will be available for adoption, so get your application in now. All Dallas DogRRR adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Look how hunky and handsome I am! This boy is the absolute sweetest.  He lives for face scratches...and food!  He was extremely underweight but has been steadily gaining weight.  His skin is improving, and his low back/hips seem to be feeling better because he is attempting to play and can now get up on the couch.  He just wants love and attention...and a comfortable place to rest his head. Dog friendly (with medium to large dogs), people friendly, kid friendly, house trained, crate trained.  He's a little 'too interested' in cats and small dogs. Barber is a sweet eight-year-old Rottweiler mix that came into a local shelter as a stray on 10/15. Just look into his eyes and you can tell that he’s sad and longing for a good home. Barber has some hair loss down the the center of his back and his tail. He also is slightly arthritic in his back legs. Judging from the calluses on his elbows he has probably spent most of his life outside. This sweet, sweet senior needs to be out of the shelter and on to a better life than he’s obviously known so far. I absolutely fell in love with this precious boy and I know you will too. He is very calm and gentle and chooses to stay close to his human friend. He is very loving. He gives kisses. He sits for treats. He wants to please. He appears to be house trained. He went nose to nose wagging his tail with other dogs in the bay. He was not interested in meeting the cats. Barber is waiting to go home with you.
