About Camilla

Adoption Fee: $200.00

Oh Camilla, you are a little piggy playing in the mud.  This little girl is a clown with her big smile and happy go lucky attitude.  Who could resist that face?

Camilla came from a neglected past and has a hard time trusting new people, but that smile she gives you once you’re in her circle of trust makes everything worth it.  We have been working with Camilla on her overall confidence.

While this beautiful girl has healed on the outside and looks so beautiful, she still has some healing to do on the inside from her previously neglected life.  She is sweet but takes a little time to earn her trust and love.  But we all know once you do, there is nothing better than a dog so devoted, loyal and thankful for the love and safe life they have now.

Found dumped with a few belongings and a blanket in a alley.  She would not leave far from the blanket as that is the only thing she knows.  Scared, cold, wet, hurt and unsure what to do next this poor girl needed help immediately.  We are getting her all checked out as she has fleas, worms, gashes and very scared.  She is sweet and shown no aggression.

All Dallas DogRRR adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Admiral has been in our rescue since March of 2019. He is a 4 year old catahoula/pitbull mix and weighs about 55/60 lbs. Admiral is both deaf and blind; however, he does not let those factors define him! He is just a normal dog - he’s playful, smart, cuddly, loves humans and other dogs, doesn’t care about cats, and just wants to be close to his humans. Admiral would do best in a home where someone can dedicate the time to spend with him to allow him to be acclimated to his new environment, help him re-adjust and get on a normal schedule. Someone who has experience with blind and/or deaf dogs would be a plus, but honestly not required because he is so low-maintenance! He would also do best in a home with no little children, or children who are 10 or older. NOT because he doesn’t like kids, but just because since he is deaf and blind, he can sometimes be easily startled by the tiny humans. Admiral loves to be outside in the fresh air, he will play and run around for hours! He also loves being inside curled up on the couch, or his bed, with his favorite stuffed animal toy. This boy can sleep for hours and hours! He is also potty trained! All Dallas DogRRR adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption.  The standard minimum donation for puppies is $325 + 8.25% tax =  $351.81, for dogs over 12 months the adoption fee is $225 + 8.25% tax = $243.66 and for our senior dogs 8 years and up is $100 + 8.25% tax = $108.25; this increase includes sales tax recently required by the State of Texas to collect.  You can view all the adoptable pets and fill out an adoption application online on our website at http://dallasdogrrr.org.  For more information, you can email adopt@dallasdogrrr.org.   For more information, you can email adopt@dallasdogrrr.org.  Upon receiving your application please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.  show less

Annie is a fireball when she comes out of her run at the boarding facility. A spitfire full of energy, jumping for joy and enjoying the attention. Give her about 15 minutes and she settles down, looks around, enjoys the view and leans in for a hug. She is a young red Heeler, smart, trainable and looking for love. Annie needs a foster to help her control her young dog enthusiasm and get her ready for a fur-ever home.  Found dumped in a field in South Texas, she is so sweet and adorable.  Around 1 year old, 35 pounds.  She is high spirited...she has that 'love me, pet me, play with me' spirit.  High energy yet just as sweet as can be. Audelia is about 2 years old.  After coming to the rescue, we learned she was pregnant.  Her puppies have all found great homes, so she is ready for her new home. Audelia is a happy, affectionate dog who LOVES being with her person.  She’s a bit shy at first but warms up to you real quick.  She loves treats and zoomies in the backyard with her foster brother. Audelia has been in a foster home with a large dog and a small dog.  We don’t know how she will do with cats or kids. She uses puppy pads and good about going outside.  She does well on a leash. She does fine with the other dogs unless she’s sitting in foster Mom’s lap and they want her attention so we’re working on that..she wants all the attention as she is making up for lost time!  Did I mention that she LOVES to be with her person?  Sometimes she takes a mouthful of her dinner and jumps up on the chair with you to eat it, then goes back for more! She follows you everywhere and will even sit on your feet if you stand in one place long enough.  When she is home alone, she shares a room with one of her friends (Pearl) who is from the same hoarding situation.  They may be adopted separately. One of nearly 30 dogs seized from a residence that was about to be charged with housing too many animals in one home.  These are adorable dogs, just need some individualized attention to realize humans want to love and pamper them. show less

Beautiful, diva Ava.  Now that are pups have gone to their furever homes, this sweet girl insists on all the loving she can get.  She loves her people but a bit leary of new people.  She just needs a little time to get comfortable in new surroundings once she does you will know it! Ava and her little pups Goldie, Olive and Brick were found in a shelter struggling for survival.  As newborns they needed to much care to be in a shelter environment. Ava is a beautiful sweet girl ready for her furever family.
