About Lincoln

My name is Lincoln and I am 5 yrs old.  My foster parents say I was perfect from the minute I walked in their house!  Yup, that’s me!  Just a good, loving gentle boy!  I have two golden sisters and I think they’re cool – and I think they kind of like me too!  I am a good car rider and enjoy going for walks or just snuggling up to my humans to watch TV.  I am trustworthy when I’m left alone in the house so I don’t need no crate!

If you have an approved application on file and would like to meet me, please email Marcie.  Please note - no emails will be returned to anyone without an already approved adoption application. I am being fostered in Jonesboro, IN

Hi, I'm Gallagher, but I'm not a comedian, and I don't know if I like watermelon!  I do know I'm a very sweet 9 year old Golden/Lab mix boy.  A shelter found me walking the streets of Indianapolis, and they asked GRRACE if I could be part of the GRRACE family.  I'm so happy I got GRRACE'd!   Some of my favorite things include snuggling, getting to go on walks, getting petted by everyone I meet, and exploring my environment.  I've heard my Foster Mom tell people that I'm one of the sweetest boys she's ever met!  I'm pretty calm most of the time, but I do get excited when it's time to go on a walk. I like being around other dogs I can play and hang out with, but I have some food aggression so I need to eat alone.   Also, I am current on my vaccinations, neutered, and completely house-trained.   In my forever home, I'd love to get lots of snuggle time from my family.  And I'd really like to have an older dog brother or sister that is calm like me, can go on walks with me, play with me, and cuddle with me. Just remember, I need to eat alone...I'm not a snob, just protective of my food!  I'd also like to have a fenced back yard so I feel safe and secure when I'm outside.  I haven't been around cats or human children, so I'm not sure what I think about them. I’m Piper, a very petite (45 lb.) 11 month old girl with a beautiful lustrous red coat. I am spayed, micro-chipped, and current on all my vaccinations. I’m housebroken and have been a very good house dog in my foster home. I am a bit shy and have led a somewhat sheltered life. I would love to have more positive experiences just to build my confidence!  I am still working on basic commands but would benefit greatly from basic obedience training. I will flourish with each positive experience I have – I’m ready to be all that I can be!  Did I mention I am a love sponge and adore snuggling?  I am high energy when there’s room to run and enjoy chasing after birds & critters in the big yard at my foster home, but I settle beautifully once I’ve had enough exercise. I just learned that I love chasing Frisbees – I’m a Fly Girl!  Because I'm a Fly Girl, I must have a yard with a structural fence.   I do love being around my family, and being separated is hard for me. I may kick up a little fuss, but I eventually settle. My original family said I get along with other dogs and kids, but because of my energy and need for training, I would do best in a home with older children and gentle dogs. My foster family has a cat, and I haven't learned how to safely play with the cat, so cats are probably a no-no.  I must say that I don’t care too much for my crate, but my foster family thinks I don't need one because I haven't been destructive or gotten into any trouble.   I'm still a puppy so I have lots to learn, but I promise to give back every ounce of training and love invested in me!
