About Bodhi

Admit it… you already love me and I love you.  Funny how that happened with only looking at my picture!  My name is Bodhi (“bow-dee” is how you say it.  Foster mom also calls me Bodhi-Boo or Bo Bo).  I’m a very sweet 9 month old blond Golden boy, and I’m looking for the perfect home!  I really want to have another dog in my future home, but don’t worry you’ll always be my #1 human.  I get a little bummed out if I don’t have a playmate around to keep me company because I love to wrestle and be silly. I need to have a fenced yard because I love to run around outside too!  In my downtime I’m really calm and relaxed.  I love my walks and I don’t pull on the leash.  I like to nap, chew on my elk horns, chill out, and be as close to my people as possible.  I’ve been around cats and I’m cool with them, so no worries there.  I can get really nervous when my foster mom leaves so we’re working on making me more comfortable and I’m trying to learn that she always comes back.  I hate the crate so I’m hoping for my forever family to have someone in the household that is mostly home; maybe works from home or is retired and home a lot and thinks it would be fun to include me in their outings!  I would benefit from some puppy training classes.  I need to learn some manners because I get really excited when people come and see me.  My foster mom has been telling me it’s not polite, so I’m learning.  And training classes with my new family will help us build a strong bond!    I’m still working on a bit on potty training;  I sometimes get so busy that I forget to go to the door, so my foster mom knows to let me out often.  I don’t mind because I get a treat when I do my business!  I’m a real catch, and my foster mom agrees. I really think YOU need ME in your life. Have your people contact my people and let’s make this happen!  xoxo, Bodhi!

This handsome boy is Rex!  He was very slick in getting Grrace to take him in....he put his ears down in his photos pretending to look like a golden 😂....low and behold when we went to rescue him the ears came up and we soon realized he’s actually a Shepard / golden mix!  He’s one smart boy!  He’s around 3 years old and one super gentle boy. He doesn’t jump to greet you, he approaches slowly and wants you to rub his head!  He is potty trained, only had a couple of accidents the first few days. He's being fostered in a home with two other larger dogs. He weighs around 72 pounds but could stand to add a few more to fill him out. He is very relaxed and laid back. Not a big toy player, but will grab one once in a while and take it to his bed and hold it. He loves belly rubs, and this is one is his favorite past times. He does not jump up on the furniture or bed, seems as though he wasn’t allowed to in his life before GRRACE. He was found as a stray but knows sit and paw and is gentle taking treats. He’s totally content to just be in the same room as his foster family. He is great when left at home alone and not crated, he doesn’t get into anything at all. He’s a super loving boy when you sit on the floor with him and just talk to him and pet him.  He’s one great pup!   If you have an approved adoption application on file and are interested in Rex, let GRRACE know. show less
