Autumn, saved in the nick of time. Sweet little one was in loud kennel by herself about to give birth to 10 puppies. When a saint came along to bring her home to the peace and quiet of their home for her to have her babies. Puppies were born on October 16, 2017. Momma took good care of her babies and all have been adopted and living the high life. Autumn is ready to find her furever home now. She is very sweet and calm. She is a bit shy at first, it takes her a little time to warm up to her surrounding, we are thinking she had a pretty rough life up to her arrival in the shelter. But with your patience and love, in turn you will get a loyal and loving companion. Autumn is around 4 years old and 45 pounds. She is so sweet and has learned how to become a dog and enjoy life now with the comforts of a good home. All Dallas DogRRR adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. This sweet momma has come a long way from her hoarding days. After helping her through raising her pups to point they are going to their furever homes, this sweet little one is scared. She has so much hope and we have so much hope for her, she just needs someone with lots of love and patience to help her become the dog she deserves to be. Please give her a chance. Bailey is about 2 years old and weighs around 12 pounds. Poor little momma. Living in a hoarding situation with over 40 other dogs. No love and attention, struggling to survive, no medical care. This young one came in with 5 babies. She was so shy and scared at first but with some consistent love and care for her and her babies she is quickly warming up to cuddles and pets. It wont take much longer before she is a cuddle bug. Her motherly instinict is understood. All Dallas DogRRR adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. This boy is the absolute sweetest. He lives for face scratches...and food! He was extremely underweight but has been steadily gaining weight. His skin is improving, and his low back/hips seem to be feeling better because he is attempting to play and can now get up on the couch. He just wants love and attention...and a comfortable place to rest his head. Dog friendly (with medium to large dogs), people friendly, kid friendly, house trained, crate trained. He's a little 'too interested' in cats and small dogs. Barber is a sweet eight-year-old Rottweiler mix that came into a local shelter as a stray on 10/15. Just look into his eyes and you can tell that he’s sad and longing for a good home. Barber has some hair loss down the the center of his back and his tail. He also is slightly arthritic in his back legs. Judging from the calluses on his elbows he has probably spent most of his life outside. This sweet, sweet senior needs to be out of the shelter and on to a better life than he’s obviously known so far. I absolutely fell in love with this precious boy and I know you will too. He is very calm and gentle and chooses to stay close to his human friend. He is very loving. He gives kisses. He sits for treats. He wants to please. He appears to be house trained. He went nose to nose wagging his tail with other dogs in the bay. He was not interested in meeting the cats. Barber is waiting to go home with you. All Dallas DogRRR adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Meet Brownie Bear! I can’t express just how sweet this dog is. He stepped thru the door last night and INSTANTLY won over all the pups AND my wife! He is also the most grateful pup I’ve ever met. I don’t know how to put it into words really BUT just watching him walk around the back yard, it’s like he can’t believe all of this is his (and it ain't much!). Last night as we went to bed, he found a wet towel and thought he was in heaven and going to use that to cushion himself. He couldn’t comprehend a dog bed. It took three times for him to stay. He melted in and never moved. I think he thinks this is all a cruel hoax of some sort. His tail has never stopped wagging. I say all of that, to say this. Thank you. He truly deserves this. So I know that every pup is thankful and appreciative of being rescued. I love that first week or month. I also love that transition , when they realize that this will be there life (give or take) from now on! Brownie is different. While he has made himself at home , he is STILL so thankful for everything! Regardless if it’s fresh water, or food or just able to get up on the couch! Or just playtime! I worry that sometimes he thinks this is just all a mean game that’s being played on him... like he will wake up and be right back in hell. Brownie , the forever thankful dog. Brownie Boy is one of several pups who were lucky enough to be rescued from Puerto Rico and make it to the mainland in hopes of finding a furever home of safety and comfort. He needed immediate medical attention upon arrival, appeared to have been attacked and was injured. He has no teeth to fend for himself. All Dallas DogRRR adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. The standard minimum donation for puppies is $300, dogs over 12 months is $200 and for our senior dogs $100. Cano!!! This handsome boy only has 3 legs, but that doesn’t stop him from learning all of the things! He’s super smart and ready to find a home of his own. This guy is enjoying life now; he's feeling so much better now that he got the medical care he needed. Unfortunately his leg did need to be amputated. But this boy is so happy he loves his comfy dog beds, the fresh grass to roll and run in. Lots of love. Life can't get much better for this guy. He's looking forward to finding a furever home where he can keep this going. Cano weighs around 40 pounds and is around 3 years old. While Cano doesn't let missing a leg slow him down, due to his past he takes time to get to know new people. Once he does he is a sweet love. Hurricane survivor in Puerto Rico and left to fend for himself all this time. After weathering the storm, there was not much chance for this guy as the country was facing a disaster. So much need everywhere that this dog was not even a second thought. But he was in desperate need of care, food, love, water. One of our fosters has taken the challenge of caring for this guy until he is healthy enough to come home. Fluffy Princess. This girl has overcome her past and is healthy and beautiful. Dogs are notoriously devoted...loyal...and provide us with unconditional love. But sometimes that's repayed by being labeled "UNWANTED". It's hard to imagine being so heartless as to dump "man's best friend" and even more difficult to think of how Claire Bear must've felt as her owner walked away. Did they know that she would pace the floors wondering when they would back? Did they know? We're commited to showing Claire that there's a loving and kind family that is worth her love and devotion and that she'll never be label "unwanted" again. Claire Bear is a senior pup that had a laundry list of medical conditions upon arrival to the rescue. She is currently 100% vetted and a healthy and happy senior. She's a peppy girl and you would never know she's over 10 if you saw her running from afar. See her before and after pictures for her amazing transformation.
