We are so thankful for our volunteers. Without them, our mission is not possible. It is important for us to get to know you as a person so we can find the best match for you when it comes to volunteering and because we care about who you are!

All of these roles are unpaid, volunteer only roles. Time commitments are next to each role. We do ask for at least a few months commitment as it takes time for training, with a few weeks notice if you need to step away from your role. However, you are absolutely not stuck in a role or alone if you need some time off or extra help. Life happens to us all and as fellow humans, we are completely understanding. Your mental and physical health come first! As a general rule, we also try to take Sundays off as a team so there is at least one day without rescue interruptions or hassles.

Safety

Are you okay with having a background check completed prior to volunteering? We only do this for certain roles when you may be responsible for transporting animals or representing our rescue at public events
