We understand that giving up your Newfoundland is a difficult decision, but we realize that in making this choice, you are thinking about your dog's best interests. We are here to help. Please be honest; we understand your dog may not be perfect, but the more we know, the better we can find the right new home for your dog. Your dog deserves a second chance to find a wonderful home, and by providing us with as much detail as possible, you will help Colonial Newfoundland Rescue Inc. better accomplish this goal.

We understand that there are many reasons one would surrender their dog. Our only goal is to provide the best care and find the best home for your dog when you realize you are no longer able. By completing this form you are providing the information we need. The surrender contract will be the legal document you will sign when we can bring your Newfoundland dog into our rescue.

All responsibility for the care and disposition of this dog passes to the CNR after the owner has signed our surrender contract. Any and all present and future rights, entitlements, and claims of the undersigned and/or the organization represented by the undersigned regarding the identified dog are forfeited with the signing of the surrender contract.
