Are you exited to volunteer and are you a hard worker? Our whole team is very passionate about our mission and saving dogs. We are constantly growing and moving at a pretty fast pace. Is this something you think you could keep up with?

We ask that all our core volunteers put in a minimum of 3 hours per week.

Are you open to communicating with your co-volunteers? The GBP team feels strongly about communication within the organization. Our BOD has been in rescue for over 15 yrs of combined experience, and we know the best way to work together is to be able to talk about our feelings and also respectfully accept the feelings of others. This helps to squash conflict at the root and creates a better work environment!

If you are interested in volunteering at our quarantine facility in Amesbury.

We’re looking for caring, dependable dog lovers to join our team at the quarantine space! Each dog spends 48 hours here, and volunteers play a huge part in making that time safe and comfortable. You’ll help with feeding, cleaning, laundry, and handling dogs and puppies. Because shifts are small, reliability is key—every person truly makes a difference. We’re looking for team players who can roll with the punches, bring a positive attitude, and are comfortable bending, lifting, and working hands-on with dogs of all sizes.

Are you interested in helping us transport rescue dogs short distances? Re:from our quarantine facility in Amesbury, MA to their foster homes, for Vet appointments, transferring from one local town to another, etc.. This is fun and you can sign up when you are available!
