Volunteer Opportunities

We are always looking for dedicated volunteers to assist in our life-saving mission! Please consider donating your time to help those in need!

Furever Tails Animal Rescue is based out of Northeast Oakland County. Transporting supplies or animals would include a visit to one of our foster homes locations. Events typically take place in the Oakland County area. Those interested in volunteering would be best suited if they were in the Oakland County vicinity. These are NOT paid opportunities as we are a non-profit organization, however we are certainly happy to assist with gas funding for those transporting pets or supplies to the rescue.

Please describe any experience you might have with walking, training or handling dogs/puppies.
If you are not 18 years of age or older, you will need to be accompanied by a parent/guardian for liability purposes.
Anyone interested in transporting or volunteering at events must have their own form of transportation. A valid drivers license and dependable transportation is required for transporting pets or supplies.
For volunteers wishing to process applications or assist with fundraising, it is very important that you are computer savvy.
