I am a 3-5 year old female Boxer/Bulldog mix. I'm short and stocky like a bulldog and have endless goofy energy like a boxer! I am a very cheery dog and when I meet new people I have the notrious boxer wiggle! I love to play and get along with other dogs but I do prefer to be the boss. I would love a home with anoter dog pal but I would also do well being the only dog. I have lots of energy and would do well in home that is active to help me burn off some of my energy. I've lived with kids and have done great with them.  Give me a bone and I will sit next to you and chew on it for hours.  I'm crate trained.  I need some work on my leash manners, as I like to pull, but with a little work I know I can master this skill.  If I sound like a good fit for you and your family I would love to meet you.  ********PLEASE READ BELOW PRIOR TO EMAILING IN********** If you are interested in adopting this dog or any other from our rescue, please go to https://www.hobocare.org/adopt to review our home requirements and fill out an application. How’s it going? My name is Reed and I’ve been told I’m one of the cutest, smartest and sweetest pups around! I’m on the search for my furever home. Just to be sure I find the home that’s the right fit for me and my new family, I’ll tell you some things about me and you can decide if I’m meant to be yours!  I've lived with lots of other dogs and do great with all of them. I've lived with young playful dogs and old grumpy dogs - I prefer the playful type, but am polite and respectful of my elder pals. It’s not a dealbreaker if you don’t have another pup in your family, but it sure would be great if you did! I consider myself pretty adventurous and think a family that enjoys being out and about would be perfect. Maybe we could go for some hikes?! I’m working hard on learning to walk well on a leash but could use some more practice before I can say I’m perfect at it. My foster mom and dad have been teaching me all kinds of things. They say I learn very quickly. I already know some of my basic commands and am working on some of the trickier ones like ‘wait’ and ‘down.’ I’m also potty trained (unless it’s reaaaaally cold out) and crate trained.  Since I’m so darn smart, my foster mom thinks I’d do really well with a family that can give me a job. That might mean using my sniffer to help find objects hidden around the house (or even digging through a snuffle mat), playing chase with my fur sibling or just learning more tricks! I’ll be honest with you, since I’m so young and am just starting out with homeschool, sometimes I can get distracted and think it’s funny to be stubborn. I need a home that will be patient and will understand I’m still learning. I promise I’m not being mean if I don’t do exactly what I’m asked 100% of the time- I don’t have a mean bone in my body!  If I had to say exactly what I’m looking for in a family it would be that they would be kind, fun, energetic and loving. ********PLEASE READ BELOW PRIOR TO EMAILING IN********** If you are interested in adopting this dog or any other from our rescue, please go to https://www.hobocare.org/adopt to review our home requirements and fill out an application. I am a 3 year old white deaf female boxer mix. I am a very happy girl and I LOVE every person I meet! If I see someone I want to say hello to, I'll army crawl or bounce my way over to greet them. Before coming to Ho-Bo Care I spent my life chained up in someone's backyard, so I'm still working on my social skills around other animals. I've lived with another dog in the past, but haven't learned to greet new dogs appropriately yet. It's a learning process! My foster mom is teaching me sign language and she says I'm a super smart girl! I'm potty trained and know how to ask when I need to go outside. I prefer not to be crated, but am not destructive when left with free roam of the house. I'm still just a puppy and sometimes that puppy energy just comes bursting out of me - I live to play! My most favorite thing of all is to snuggle with and give gentle kisses to my humans though. I'm ready for my forever home! PLEASE READ BELOW PRIOR TO EMAILING IN!
