I am an 8 year old American Bulldog mix.  I was found with an injured shoulder.  My owners came forward but decided they didn't want to provide me with any meidcal attention so they surrendered me to the shelter.  I am very sweet and easy going. I am also good with other dogs.  I get around great on my leg and the vet said it is an old injury and nothing needs to be done for it.  So that is good news! I can go up and down the stairs with no problem.   Note from foster: He turned 8 years old in December so is officially a senior-but don't let that fool you! He goes for a one mile walk in the morning and a one mile walk in the evening and is happy to go again. He can get up and down stairs well and also runs! Loves to play with his toys and chase a ball. I make him sit and wait for OK before he gets his food. I can take his food away. He is housetrained and loves his crate. He knows basic commands: Sit, stay, down, shake, leave it. He does not get on furniture unless invited up, does not jump up on people, only barks at delivery trucks. He is working on not barking at delivery trucks and getting much better. He is great outside with all dogs, puppies, kids and people. ********PLEASE READ BELOW PRIOR TO EMAILING IN********** If you are interested in adopting this dog or any other from our rescue, please go to https://www.hobocare.org/adopt to review our home requirements and fill out an application. Do you want a puppy but like to sleep through the night and don’t have time for hours of exercise?? Peppa is your girl!  At around 4 years old, she acts like a puppy because everything is new to her after having a bad start to life.  She came to us skin and bones and so weak she could hardly walk.  She is experiencing being in a house, regular meals, toys, bones, dog beds, and walks for the first time.  She can hold her potty and likes her bed time!  She only needs a short walk (not going to be a running or hiking partner) and she is quite happy to settle with you all day.  She rarely barks so makes a great office mate.  She has been living in a foster home with a four ft fence and has no interest in going over it, and she doesn’t bark at people or dogs passing by. She is tiny at around 35-40 lbs but is a bossy pants playing with other dogs so would do well with another pup who lets her be in charge or as an only pup.  She is too interested in cats so a no cat home is best.  She has no baggage about people even with her poor treatment early on in life. She loves people and everyone who meets her loves her!!  See more pictures on Instagram at peppashappyending    ********PLEASE READ BELOW PRIOR TO EMAILING IN********** If you are interested in adopting this dog or any other from our rescue, please go to https://www.hobocare.org/adopt to review our home requirements and fill out an application. Hey there, my name is Raven!  Are you looking for a new addition to your family?  Well, great news – I am currently on the search for my forever family and would love to share with you a little bit about myself!  I am a 2 year old VERY sweet female boxer mix with a dark, beautiful brindle coat.  I absolutely love every person I meet, really enjoy snuggling and will give you all the kisses you could ever want!  I have such wonderful house manners and you can trust that I’ll never get into anything that isn’t mine.  I am potty trained and do just fine with free roam when left alone, but I am also crate trained and actually really love my crate – especially at bedtime!  I eagerly run upstairs and lay down in my crate next to my foster parents’ bed every night when it’s time for bed – it just always makes me feel so safe and cozy!  I am very playful, but my foster mom also says I have one of the calmest demeanors she has ever encountered.  What can I say - I guess I am sort of the best of both worlds with my calm and peaceful, yet fun and playful, personality!! I have four foster-fur siblings and REALLY love all of them!  I needed a little work on my socialization when first arriving to my foster home - I would just get so excited to play and didn’t realize how rough I could be at times.  However, my foster mom says I’ve made a ton of progress and play really well now!  I can still sometimes get a little wound up so proper introductions to new dogs would be helpful – but the good news is that I am a really, really phenomenal listener.  I just love my people and am super eager to please so, although I might need a quick gentle reminder every once in a while, I always respond extremely well to subtle ques.  I have zero food, treat, bone or toy aggression.  I honestly didn’t even really understand the appeal of toys when I first arrived - but am starting to realize they can be quite fun and are often even better when sharing with my foster-fur siblings! Although I’m not your typical wild 2-yr old boxer, I do have a good amount of energy and would really love to find a forever family with a male pup that will want to run around and play with me.  Oh, and guess what!  I don’t mind cats at all, either!  I’m not a jumper and would be fine in a 4ft fence, I walk great on a leash, love going for car rides and have the cutest little happy dance when it’s time to eat.  Long story short – I am pretty much the perfect package!!  If you agree and would be interested in meeting me, please apply at https://www.hobocare.org/adopt.  Can’t wait to meet you!! ********PLEASE READ BELOW PRIOR TO EMAILING IN********** If you are interested in adopting this dog or any other from our rescue, please go to https://www.hobocare.org/adopt to review our home requirements and fill out an application.
