Lily is estimated to be just over a year and a half, still a boisterous youngster, FUN, full of energy, and eager to please. Sadly, Lily had a rough start in life and quickly learned that humans aren't always kind, which has led to some trust issues and feeling she needs to be protective of her space - but once she trusts you, she's an absolute JOY! Because of this, Lily needs an experienced adopter, willing to go slow and respect her boundaries to build trust, someone that can be a strong leader with a gentle hand to help her continue to shine like the diamond she is. She is smart as a whip, corrects easily with words, and can pick up on tonal cues - plus she's VERY food motivated! Lily can be selective about her doggie friends, as she has some alpha tendencies, but truly enjoys the company of a social submissive canine companion that doesn't make her feel challenged/threatened. She would do best paired with a playful canine who can show her the ropes of being a dog and help her blossom. Lily LOVES walks, belly rubs, bones, rides in the car, and "killing" toys, but her most favorite pastime is digging up rocks in the yard. She's quite the amateur geologist and has a fantastic collection! Like all young dogs, Lily will benefit from a healthy exercise regimen (jogging partner?) and continued obedience training. She does pull on leash and can be reactive if she sees another dog or small critter that needs to be chased - but she is getting better! Lily is house broken and knows kennel, treat, come, sit, down, off, paw, & sit up. Plus, she's still learning more! **No cats - as she has a high prey drive.** **No young children - as she can be mouthy when over stimulated, or reactive if startled/feels threatened.**

Oakley is an approximately 2 year old pit mix that was dumped in the country with her three puppies. Oakley is a very sweet and smart dog that gets along well with dogs and children and is quick to learn commands. She kennels well, loves the outdoors and wresting with her doggie friends and also gives a mean cuddle. She is reactive to cats and needs to be placed in a cat-free home for this reason. She should be just over 60# at her ideal weight and she is housebroken. Oakley has recently been diagnosed with a luxating patella and will need surgery to fix this. This is a 6-8 week recovery time involving strict cage rest so we're looking for a medical foster or adopter for her.

Ruffles is a young adult female pit mix that is incredibly smart and quick to please. She knows several tricks and is housebroken. Ruffles is a gorgeous light brindle color and was an unclaimed stray at a municipal shelter in Oklahoma that was euth listed due to lack of space. Ruffles is good with kids and is working on meeting dogs. She has an old injury on her right hind leg that causes her to drag her toe a bit, this has been examined by a vet and found to not need treatment as it's neurologic in origin, likely due to some sort of trauma. Ruffles is fully vetted and ready for adoption now!

Ruth is 1-2 years old and a small pittie mix. She's very shy and takes quite a while to come out of her shell with new people. Ruth is dog friendly, is interested in cats so may need training to not bother them, but is not a good candidate for kids because she's scared easily. She needs another dog in the home for confidence. Ruth is fully vetted, around 40#, loves fetch and hanging out with her canine pals.
