📍Donate at codysfriendsrescue.org ❤️to help us save more lives! https://codysfriendsrescue.org/donate Hi! I'm Mr. Farley! My foster mom said she's going to get me "back on the right track" just like some old Chris Farley SNL skit. I don't know what that means but I've been having a good time at their house! I was snowed in for my first few days here but now that the snow has melted I've been chasing squirrels outside and running around after a squeaky ball. I'm a smart boy that figured out potty training quick and I'm learning to sit and stay! My foster mom keeps telling me I'm such a handsome fella and have the softest, prettiest fawn fur she's ever seen. I like my crate and don't mind if you need to run errands. I would love a quiet, calm home with lots of play time in the backyard.  Farley weighs 63 pounds and is very strong. It is not recommended he is adopted into a home with small children as he may knock them over while playing. He is responding well to training but still needs to be socialized to other people and pets. He is scared but not aggressive. He is very bonded to his foster mom but leary of foster dad. He does let foster dad pet him and give him treats sometimes. He will need an adopter that has previously owned a large dog and understands ongoing training will benefit Farley. He currently receives 5-15 minutes a day of training and loves his hot dog rewards. He is a very sweet boy that is learning to trust. He is not a barker and is happy to be laying at your feet when you're lounging on the couch. Farley could be an only dog but it is recommended he has a well-mannered sibling to play with close to his age.     Applications are at https://bit.ly/codys_adoption_application.   show less

📍Donate at codysfriendsrescue.org ❤️to help us save more lives! https://codysfriendsrescue.org/donate Burke is a 2 year old husky who weighs 55lbs. She gets along with other dogs but can sometimes play too rough with smaller dogs. She has not been around cats but we do not think she would be a good match with cats. She is very friendly with all people shes met, we haven't seen her around children but we think she would do just fine with kids.  A home with a yard is required, as she likes to run around and sunbathe. No apartments please. Burke loves to play and always has a toy closeby. She is your typical mischevious husky and will get into things she shouldn't. If you don't want her to have it you will have to put it out of her reach. Burke does need to be crated when no one is home so she will not get into stuff she shouldn't. She does well in her crate and will happily go in for a treat.  Burke may have an accident or two when she first arrives to her new home. Her adopters will have to show her where to potty at her new house.  She is a very smart girl who loves going for walks. However, she does have mild hip dysplasia so walks should be kept short. Due to her hip dysplasia Burke does need to take two supplements that we are requiring the adopter keep her on. Huskies are a wonderful breed but are NOT for inexperienced dog owners as they can be difficult, stubborn, and have a mind of their own. Burke is definitely your typical husky. She will not jump a fence but could dig out so she must not be outside unattended.  Burke loves snuggling, giving kisses, and showing your her belly. Surprisingly for a husky she is affectionate. She talks on occasion but not too much. She loves to run and play chase with her doggie friends.     Applications are at https://bit.ly/codys_adoption_application.   show less
