Brooklyn was rescued from a shelter in San Bernardino.  Brooklyn (Brookie) is approximately 4 years old and weighs about 35 lbs.  Brookie is a semi feral dog.  we believe her breed is a Labrador/Dachschund Mix.  We have had her a while and never posted her because she is amazing with other dogs and she is who we use to temp test dogs and we have just let her be.   We have worked with her off and on but just recently we started working with her more because we have had the time to focus on her and she is making great progress.  We can pet her and leash her.  She is doing great on the leash.  We can get her on the couch with a leash and she will relax and we can pet her.   She takes treats from our hand and follows us around.   She will jump up on the back of our legs for attention.  She is not a barker.  She wants the attention and love so bad but doesn’t know how to receive it.  She jumps up on the bed and she will nudge my hand and roll over for me to pet her belly.  We are looking for an adopter for her that will take the time to work with her.  Brooklyn is a very special girl to us. She would do best in a home with at least one other dog and a yard.   He best furfriend is Molly who is also available for adoption.  Brooklyn is ready to make some family very happy. She is available for adoption now so if you would like to be making memories with Brookie, complete an application: http://petstablished.com/adoption_form/4362/generic show less

Everest is a kill shelter survivor from San Bernardino County, who ended up there as a stray.  Everest is estimated to be about 2 years young and weighs 51lbs.  He is a Siberian Husky mix.  He has been through a lot, so it understandably takes time for him to come out of his shell. When he does, he’s very sweet, playful, and goofy. He has medium energy and doesn’t enjoy going for walks yet, so a yard with an outgoing, friendly dog to play with & show him the ropes would really help him feel comfortable & settle in quicker. He enjoys playing with his foster brother who is about his size & he looks to him as a guide. He has so much love to give, he just needs the right family to support him. Everest’s forever family will be patient, understanding, and go at his pace, because they know it’ll take him time to get used to his new surroundings & to feel safe. But he’s worth it! There’s no better feeling than when he begins to trust, does his play bow, and shows his belly.  It generally takes 3 days for dogs to decompress, 3 weeks to begin to feel comfortable & start to show their personality (his foster family started seeing his personality at 2.5-3 weeks), 3 months to fully settle & feel secure as a member of the family. Everest’s forever family will be excited to put the work in to prove to him that he is safe, loved, and that he’ll never be let down again. He can’t wait to meet them! Everest is ready to make some family very happy. He is available for adoption now so if you would like to be making memories with this cutie, complete an application: http://petstablished.com/adoption_form/4362/generic show less
