Meet Angelica.  This special girl will make you fall in love all over again. Generously affectionate, even in these harder times, the girl still manage to bring a little bit of joy to everyone who meets her.  All the qualities that people so often look for in the ‘perfect’ dog can be found in Angelica. She is well mannered and calm, loves to cuddle, gentle, affectionate, and lay out in the sun. No power walking is required to keep this girl happy. She is intelligent and easy to train.  But although this girl has such a lot to offer, it seems that no-one has yet been able to see her as a new family pet. If you’ve been looking for the companionship of a wonderful pet, then Angelica is the girl for you.  We know you won’t be disappointed. We have fosters all over the Pacific Northwest allowing us to post in specific cities. Due to Covid 19 restrictions all Meet & Greets have been cancelled to keep everyone safe. Hi.  I'm April Cuddlebug.  My foster mom says I am a cutie! ❤  I am friendly and playful.  I love to explore and enjoy my time in the yard.   🏠I am housebroken, and walk on a leash.  I have been working on crate training, but it is taking a long time.  I do not like to be inside and can always figure my way out. I was found in the streets always looking for food.  I used to go for days without a full meal.  Scraps were my best friends.  I tend to be protective of my food.  I still haven't figured out that food will be given to me daily.  I am used to eating my food inside my crate and away from others.  I feel like someone is going to take my food from me.   We have figured out that I will do best in a single dog family.  At this time other dogs are not recommended.  I want to share all my love with my humans.  I have plenty to give.  😘 I find little kids a bit intimidating and would be a better fit with teenagers.  I have tried, but have bumped into a few little ones.   I do have lots of love to give.  I cannot wait to be part of a loving family that meets all my needs.  I am ready.  Are you my family?   👨‍👩‍👦‍👦 This little cutie is currently in Houston.  Due to Covid 19 all meet and greets have been cancelled.  She can travel to the Pacific Northwest if adopted in the next 2 weeks.  She is a total honey. show less

Courtesy post **. For adoption info message alexq226@gmail.com   Buddy's Life: A Memoir  0 -9 Months Old  When Buddy was found at the park on Monday he had on a collar and vaccine tag. We got in touch with the person associated with the vaccine registration number and she confirmed Buddy was a stray. She also shared sadder details about his life. She had been feeding Buddy on and off for months whenever he randomly showed around her house. After she noticed he was getting bigger and bigger and realized she couldn't continue feeding him, she trapped him in her front yard so the local pound could come for him. He was very skittish and kept trying to run away so she used one of her dog's old collars ( the one Buddy was wearing when we found him) to attach a rope and tether him until the pound came for him. A few days went by and no one came by to pick up Buddy. "It just happens" that when she was about to let him loose to go back to the streets a man that was passing by asked if she would give him the dog "for his brother." She said that the man noted that his brother was going to take care of the dog. The woman gave Buddy to this man she didn't know and as soon as he left she started thinking that he was probably going to use Buddy as bait for dog fights. She felt very bad and was relieved to know Buddy had been found alive.  9 months - Furever Years Old  Buddy is making INCREDIBLE improvements. He's a lot less skittish in a matter of just 72 hours. He's a sweet love bug craving attention and cuddles. He's showing just how clever he is by learning how to open front doors and learning how to sit ( we are still working on it but he will get it in no time).  He was taken to the vet today and we got great news! He's negative for heart-worms and parvo and even though he has dermatitis and some intestinal parasites, he's gotten medication to treat those gross bugs and will have a clean bill of health in about 2 weeks. He's 64 lbs and the vet estimates he's 9 months old. We have signed him up for a low-cost neutering clinic and as soon as we are able to book an appointment he will get neutered.  We are crate training him, he hasn’t had any accidents inside the house since we have him. We are teaching him how to sit and other basic commands and he’s picking up how to walk on a leash very well show less
