Hello applicants!  Meet our adorable Angelina.  This sweet girl is just perfect!  She loves all humans, cats and gets along with dogs too.  Angelina like many other Spring Branch Rescue intakes was found on the streets of Houston.  Probably dumped or got away from her home.  When we took her in she had a litter of kittens with her.  We have been able to find homes for all except this amazing girl.  She is fully housebroken and extremely obedient.  She will do great in any living situation.  Her transition from our foster home to yours should be a very easy one.  Our dear Angelina is FIV positive.  You take a chance when rescuing a cat that they will be FIV positive.  Back in the days it was a death sentence for them as many were not educated enough on this.  THERE is nothing bad about FIV.  WE love our FIV intakes!  They live long happy lives.  They will require a little more attention to upper respiratory issues.  Kinda like someone who has allergies.  You will need to stablish a relationship with a vet and keep up with all your yearly shots as expected.  FIV cats can live with other FIV cats and Dogs.  Unfortunately, cats that have FIV cannot live with those that do not have it.  Some adopters have adopted in the past and kept up with yearly shots for their health cats.  That's up to you as an adopter.  We have to let you know what we were told by our vet.  We have found homes for so many!!!  Absolutely NOTHING bad with their adoptions.  Lived long happy lives.  Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Bella is a quiet, thoughtful girl who, once she gets to know you, will smooch and happily show you her tricks. Introducing Dunlin, the dog that will steal your heart. This charismatic canine is like no other - he's the most interesting dog in the world. While he may not always be chasing balls, when he does, he brings them back with a wagging tail and a smile that could melt your heart. Dunlin's incredible journey began in a Fulshear neighborhood, where he roamed freely for over a week. It wasn't until he spotted a group of dogs on a walk that he decided to join in on the fun. Following them home, he confidently strutted into their yard, ready to play and make new friends. At just 2-3 years old and weighing in at a sturdy 60 pounds, Dunlin is a picture of health. He has tested negative for heartworm and is as fit as can be. Not only is he great with other dogs, but he also walks perfectly on a leash, making him the ideal companion for leisurely strolls around the block. And if that wasn't impressive enough, Dunlin is already housetrained and knows how to sit, fetch, and lay down on command. But what truly sets Dunlin apart is his gentle and laid-back nature. Meet Lorri. This ridiculously sweet girl came into the rescue from the shelter. She had been found as a stray. After being in the overcrowded shelter for two months, she found herself on the euthanasia list. We couldn't let them kill her just to make room, so we brought her into our rescue and we're very glad that we did. She is soo incredibly sweet and loving. She is thankful to be out of the shelter and in a foster home and shows it with lots of kisses and cuddletime with her foster mom. 🥰 She is still very young and full of puppy energy. She would do best with an active family or at least some kids or another dog to play with. She loves to run around with her doggie friends in the backyard, go for walks, and play with any toy available (especially if it has a squeaker). 😁 She is also good about being calm and snuggling with a blankie on the couch if there's no activity going on. She is very smart and very eager to please. She has mastered "sit" and "leave it". She is crate trained, leash trained, and potty trained (when taken out on a regular basis). She does need to continue to work on not jumping on people from excitement and some mouthing but I know with continued training, she will perfect those. She thinks absolutely everyone and everything is a friend and wants to play with them. She is good with kids, cats, and dogs. She really is the sweetest. Oh! And have you seen how cute she is?! She is cream colored except for her caramel colored ears and the light fawn spotting along her back. 😍 I don't know how she was at the shelter for so long.
