My name is Chance and I am looking for a special human to take a chance on me. I am approx 2 years old and I am a pure bred Pomerinian doggo. I was rescued from a back yard breeding situation and have been in foster care for sometime. I have been fostered with other dogs and cats who I do not mind a bit. However I am just NOT very happy with humans. I do listen to them! I respond to my name and I know the word "no" and "lay down".  The rescue does not know my history up until they saved me. The only real thing they knew about me was #1I had little to no human contact,  and #2 I came from a back yard breeder.  I can be picked up, held and groomed including a nail trim-however the minute you let me go, my first instinct is to run away. I won't run far, but just far enough away that I feel more secure.  I am still deserving of a loving home. I am worth the effort and the time needed to make me a loving dog. To show me what being a pet is all about.  My ideal home would include: a quiet and patient person or 2. I could even settle for an older aged child who is dog savvy. I definetly need someone who is patient and I need someone who is willing to hold me, and put in the work with me.  I really really want to be a real dog. I want to run, play go for walks and snuggle with my human. I just have never been taught.  If you think you have the time and patient for a little challenge, like me, please apply.  I would love nothing more then to find my forever home.  FYI: I was found with 2 other dogs just like me, and they have since been adopted and are both flourishing in their forever homes. Beautiful Ellie was hit by a car and rescued out of the street.  Unfortunately poor girl ended up with a fractured leg which has healed but she still has a bit of a limp.  Ellie is not your typical husky.  She is very calm and quiet and very well behaved.  She gets along with other dogs but cats are unknown.  Not be with farm animals however. show less

Gordo is an American Bulldog that was rescued last Sept when dumped at Stator Bros in East Highland. He was left sitting in a shopping cart on a hot summer day. He is very lovable! Craves attention and will actually whine for it. LOVES toys and is leash trained. He does NOT like cats and is ok with some dogs. He would thrive in a home where he is the only pet. Gordo weights 61 plds and he is powerful. He should be in a home that has no young children because he is so strong. He is between 5-7 years old. show less

Yes a sweet little girl who wants nothing more then to be loved.  My mail goal in life is to spend my time with my human/family and make sure they are okay and safe.  I've been told I look young for my age and I love to cozy up in a warm lap and watch TV. I am potty pad trained and am working on learning to go outside with reminders.  A little about how I ended up with Guardian Angel Pet Rescue: I was with another rescue and it burnt down. Many dogs had to be moved and rehomed or re-rescued into new rescues. I was one of the "lucky ones" to find this great rescue to help me find my perfect person. I have been looking for my forever family for several months, and I would love nohting more then to find the perfect match!   Due to how small I am and my age, I would do best in a home with another small dog. I am looking for a patient home to allow me time to get comfortable. I am a good girl. I get along well other dogs (bigger then me) and I like all people! Even little ones. Hello and my name is Perla! I am approx 13 years young! I am a terrier with a sweet disposition. I know some people may be a bit hesitant to adopt an older dog, but we are a little less work and are mostly content to just visit our humans.  My favorite things to do are being curled up in a warm blanket or sniffing around in the yard.  I like other doggies, but haven't met any cats before. Due to my age my knees are a bit wobbly, so I'm better around smaller dogs, older kids or adults. I have some tummy troubles, so I eat a low fat diet and the good news is - I don't shed!  I use a potty pad indoors, but I am able to go outside too if let out. A little back history about how I ended up with Guardian Angel Pet Rescue: I lost my rescue home in a fire. There were many dogs looking to be rehomed, or re-rescued. I was one of the lucky ones!  I have been in foster care for quite a while and have been looking for my furever family ever since.  I would love nothing more then to find a kind human to love me for the rest of my days.    show less
