Bailey James

Male Adult Pointer (mixed)
Please note, applications won’t even be considered if ALL of the following adoption requirements are not met Adoption requirements are a... show more
Please note, applications won’t even be considered if ALL of the following adoption requirements are not met Adoption requirements are as such: No apts or condos Not a first time dog owner  Active family  No kids under 16  No small pets  Experince with separation anxiety and crate training  If another dog, one socialized and well-balanced dog  Bailey James is a 5-year-old, 45 lb, pointer mix looking for his forever family. He is UTD, neutered, chipped, housebroken, and walks on leash. Bailey James is medium energy and would love a family he can trust to cuddle and go on walks with. He is good with dogs, unsure with cats, and good with older kids. Bailey James was found as a stray. His teeth are worn down and have metal on them, so the vet thinks he may have been left in a crate, possibly neglected. Because of his possibly traumatic past, he is slow to warm up to new people and scared of loud sounds. He also needs someone who is willing to work on his separation anxiety. He is great when home with his family, but is nervous when left home alone and will bark, yetlp, destroy items in his crate or the room he is left in. He loves his people and would do best in a home where his family is home a lot. He can jump over a fence and dig under a fence, so it is best that he be taken on a leash on walks. He loves going on walks. He is happiest laying by his person's side. He also loves exploring the outdoors while supervised. He gets spurts of puppy energy and loves to play with toys.  Bailey James has to find his new forever home because his current owners adopted him from the shelter 4 months ago and don't have the time to work with him on his separation anxiety. They also have a young child in the home and Bailey would do best in a home without young children. Please note, Bailey James is part of Happy Trails Animal Rescue’s rehoming program. Information provided is based on their current guardian’s statements and limited interaction with volunteers. They are not under the care of the rescue. I'm Rizzo, a very sweet, loving, happy girl! I love to go on trips and walks. My foster mom has me working with a trainer and I'm learning how to walk on a leash. I love Benebones and stuffy toys. I love to play catch, and cuddle with my PEOPLE! Did I tell you people are my most favorite? I am good being left loose in the house, but I prefer to not be left alone for long periods of time. I will only be destructive if I'm put in a crate. Please don't leave me outside. I have amazing jumping skills and can scale a fence with no problem.  Rizzo is a 3-year-old, 65 lb, American Bulldog, Pit Bull mix looking for her forever family. She is UTD, spayed, chipped, housebroken, and is learning how to walk on leash. Rizzo is medium energy and would love a family to cuddle and go on adventures with. She is only good with medium-sized, submissive, yet confident dogs, not good with cats, and great with kids.  Rizzo has to find her new forever home because she is currently living with her foster mom who saved her from going to the shelter.  Please note, Rizzo is part of Happy Trails Animal Rescue’s rehoming program.
