Hello humans! I'm Freya, a 1-2 year old cat that was found as a stray. If you're planning on meeting with me, my day-to-day routine goes as follows: In the morning, expect me to be laying on your pillow, fast asleep. Once you get up to go to the kitchen, that's when I want my food. My favorite food is wet canned food or even a bite of your breakfast. After breakfast, we go to the living room. Where I snuggle up to you or I decide I want some more sleep by myself in your bed, or a local cardboard box. In the afternoon, if I smell a pest that's when I go on the prowl. One of my favorite hobbies to catching and killing mice. I'm a prestigious hunter, top of my class, if I do say so myself. I might even play with the resident cats or dogs in the home at this time as well. And finally, at night, I want to cuddle back up with you to go back to sleep. I am one of six kittens found in a barn.  I am very, very, very, shy. If you chase me, I will try to run.  I feel safter with access to high places and if I am up high up, I am much easier to grab.  I love treats, and I love to play and hunt.  I also like being brushed when I am sleepy.  Loud noises startle me, and I can be a bit sassy if I am really scared, but with lots of patience I am very sweet. Hello, I'm Norton. I was taken in by Big Lake Community Animal Clinic after a lady had found me beating up some coyotes! They patched me up and now that my battle scar is healed, I am finally looking for a home I can be safe away from those coyotes! Since I was an outside cat, they tested me for FIV and found that I am FIV+. Don't let that scare you! I will still live a happy and full life. I can even live with other cats! But more about me! The vets estimate me only to be 1-3 years, and like I already said, my life span is the exact same as a FIV- cat! So I still have so much love to give you! I love to be brushed and loved on, I will give you headbutts and talk your ear off if you let me! I have a super handsome face, but since I am a black cat I more just show up as a void. Here's a note from my foster:  Norton is a very sociable cat and likes lots of attention. He's trainable! He will "lay down" especially if you tell him "brushing". He will come running when I say "come here kitty!" He loves brushing, being petted, his toys and using the cardboard scratch pads. He likes to cuddle on the couch and has been sleeping with me every night. He prefers his favorite dry cat food and rarely eats canned food. Norton is a wonderful kitty and good companion!
