Dean 2

Male Senior Domestic Shorthair
Hi my name is Dean, I am writing to  tell you about me and my best bud, Jan. We are best friends and have been together our whole lives.... show more
Hi my name is Dean, I am writing to  tell you about me and my best bud, Jan. We are best friends and have been together our whole lives. Our human abandoned us about a year ago. A good Samaritan took us to  the shelter because he knew that there was a very real possibility that we were going to end up being totally homeless and living on the streets. Being at the shelter was very hard on us and we were so scared and confused. All we did was just huddle together in the corner of our cage scared to death. A very kind shelter worker reached out to the Burlington County Animal Alliance to see if they could come rescue us. Sure enough they did! They came and got us and put us in a wonderful foster home where we were happy and thriving. We were eventually adopted by a wonderful older woman who really loved us, but after a few  months, she suffered a very serious and unexpected health issue and became so ill that she could no longer care for us. We went back to our foster home and a few months later, we were adopted again by another kind woman. We were really, really hoping that we were finally in our FUREVER home! Sadly, that was not the case! Our new mom said that she was just to overwhelmed with many other things and cannot keep us. Thankfully, our wonderful foster mom took us in again. We don’t understand why this is happening to us! We are 2 wonderful seniors in good health. We are both declawed and all we want is to chill in a quiet loving home! We always use the litter box and we are no trouble at all. My friend Jan, is a handsome tuxedo who loves getting his belly rubbed. He is super sweet and very laid back. I am a handsome buff orange tabby. I’m a little bit more outgoing and I love to snuggle. We are both very affectionate boys and promise to bring you lots of love, joy and cuddles.  Is there ANYONE out there who could please give us a FUREVER home? This time we want to stay. They say, “Third time's a charm!” Well, we hope and pray that's true! If you can't take us, please, please help us find our FUREVER home. That's all we really want! Love, Dean show less

Lucy was going to be a TNR cat, returned to her outdoor colony, but we discovered that Lucy is not at all aggressive or feral and we also learned that she has a mild case of cerebellar hyperplasia (CH), a neurological disorder that effects mobility. Lucy's case is mild. She has some balance issues and issues jumping, but she gets around just fine. She does not appear to need any accommodations in order to function as a safe home. Returning Lucy to her outdoor colony was not possible as she would most definitely not do well outside. Lucy is EXTEMELY sweet and loves lots and lots human attention. She is absolute love bug. She loves being petted and brushed and will sit for hours and enjoying all the love and attention that you're willing to give her. She is good with other cats, but has not been dog tested. Although she can be picked up, she gets very nervous and afraid, and that may be due to the CH and balance issues that she has. Lucy is looking for her FUREVER home where it is relatively quite and where she can be safe, looked after and cared for. In return, Lucy will surely give you endless love and affection.  NOTE: BCAA Cats ONLY be accepts applications IN STATE (from NJ residents only) WITHIN 50 miles or 45 minutes in travel time from our adoption center in Mount Laurel, NJ. show less
