She is currently on a journey to learn how to live as a cherished house dog.  She's incredibly affectionate and her saintly eyes will melt your heart. She was used solely for breeding purposes in the past, so now she is slowly discovering how to truly be a dog.    Blair can be a bit timid and cautious in unfamiliar situations or when she's unsure of what's happening, that is her way of adjusting.  She absolutely adores spending time outdoors, exploring the yard, and relaxing in the grass, soaking up the earth's beauty. With every passing day, she learns new things, eagerly chasing and running after anything that catches her attention. She's also making progress in mastering basic commands and getting more comfortable with car rides, although crate training is a work in progress.  Blair's foster home currently accommodates two other dogs, and with a gradual introduction, they all get along well. However, Blair isn't a fan of loud noises such as fireworks, thunder, or any sudden loud booms. Additionally, she gets startled by people shouting or screaming, causing her to run and hide wherever she can feel safe. Blair is quite sensitive to these situations.  On the brighter side, she adores her beauty sleep and has a unique talent for snoring loudly! As she settles in and feels more at ease, Blair transforms into a goofy goofball, revealing her fun-loving personality. Buddy - Male Great Dane Age: 6-7 years Good with: Cats: Yes Dogs: Yes Kids: Yes Location: Dorsey, IL Weight: 155 poiunds Buddy is a very sweet boy in spite of his neglectful past. He was found abandoned in a home with no food or water. He is the definition of a gentle giant; 36” at his shoulders and is 37” from chest to his rump! Buddy has gained some much-needed weight and his comfort is improving daily.  He’s energetic and loves attention but also really enjoys his naps. Gatlin -  Male Neapolitan Mastiff Age: 2.5 years Weight: 86 lbs Pet Location: South Haven, MS Good with: Cats: Yes Dogs: Yes Kids: Yes Gatlin is so much fun and has a lot of energy. He LOVES other dogs and even does well with cats. He romps through the yard without a care in the world until he crashes and flops his belly into the grass. Gatlin came to Just Giants with a bone infection that nearly cost him his leg. But the infection is all cleared now and he is ready for adoption! Location: Nixa, MO Weight: 120 lbs Gunner's previous owner gave him away to a stranger on Facebook and shortly after that, he ended up in the shelter in pretty bad condition. Just Giants stepped in to rescue him in May and he has been thriving in his foster home since then. He is ready for his forever home now!  Gunner is an amazing boy that will be a great companion. He is a typical young Dane that loves to play and will need training. He doesn't quite understand how big he is! Which is why he would do best in a home without small children. He likes other dogs and will play with them all day. She loves all and greets everyone with kisses and wags. She doesn’t even mind the vacuum. She really would do best with another dog companion, she takes their lead with exploring the yard and anything new to her. She’s very gentle with the kids, 3 and 7 years old. Her favorite thing is to cuddle and follow her foster momma around and make sure she’s always in sight! The perfect adopter would be someone who is home often to continue with her training.
