🐾 Meet Feta: Your Perfect Companion! 🐾 Feta is a sweetheart with a few little quirks.  The good: she's sweet and loves to cuddle.  The sad: she's had a rough beginning to life. She is an FIP survivor that has been tossed around from home to home. Because of these two things she is untrusting of men, children, dogs, and some cats. She has one cat bestie that is the same age as her that she does well with. She has digestive issues and frequently has diarrhea and doesn't always make it in the litter box. She also vomits more than most cats. She has had several tests that say she is just fine, just a little quirky. :)  Feta has some big issues to work around, but will be the perfect companion for the perfect person.  show less

Named for his gorgeous amber eyes and spunky demeanor, Fox is a curious and goofy boy who enjoys cuddling, playing chase with his brother, turning every day items into toys, and protecting his foster mom from the squirrel that lives outside the window. He was rescued with his brother (Badger) from the streets in the height of summer heat after someone apparently decided they no longer wanted them. This very good boy takes an interest in whatever it is you are doing, especially if it involves the sink! He recently discovered how to burrow under covers, and splits his time between being a blanket lump and perching at the top of the cat tree. He and his brother will bring such joyous energy to your home, and will thrive in an environment with a family who enjoys playing with them. Fox is social with other cats and gentle dogs. show less

Garfield at 15 years young is the sweetest kitty. He greets his foster mom with soft meows and reaches out to tap her with his front paws. Sometimes he tries to hug her. His sweet human momma passed away leaving him and his 3 kitty friends homeless. AVAP took them in. Garfield has adjusted quickly and like most orange tabbies is full of affection and very easy going. He does have kidney issues-chronic kidney disease-and requires a special prescription diet. He just needs a soft spot with lots of love for his Senior years. He still has years of love and kitty kisses to give.  show less

Gerald loves to explore and play with anything from combs to brooms- he loves to "help" clean in his own special way. He is a loving baby boy who purrs when you give him back scratches. Gizmo is getting ready for his furever home! He was found with his 2 siblings(Sadie and Rickie Bobby) and mom in a broken down car. in May 2023. He has since enjoyed the indoor life lounging in a window sill watching the birds and squirrels. He loves his fluffy cat bed and will snuggle up with one of his siblings.  Butt scratches are a dream, especially when it's time to eat, and he will purr purr purr when he gets them.  He's a silly, vocal boy who will trill all day as he plays with his favorite toys.  You can always find him running through the cat tunnel, jumping in the air playing with his cat dancer and chasing his siblings around.  He is very partial to a long piece of ribbon that he drags with him from room to room. He has the softest fur with bit of orange, which he does have some "orange cat" tendencies. He would do well with another friendly cat through proper introduction. He and his siblings continue to get used to life indoors so a home where he will be able to gradually come out of his shell would be best. Gouda is the GOOD-est boy! Like his brother swiss, Gouda loves to get into everything and play all day! He is also fearless and confident like his littermates, and will makethe best, most entertaining companion. Gouda has a limited tail, which is what qualifies him as a bobtail. He is classified a bobtail because he is missing a large portion of his tail!  show less

Gravik is the shy one of the litter, but is great with other cats and kittens. He absolutely ADORES our adult bengal and would weave himself under his legs all the time. Gravik is sweet and cautious having first been rescued from a neglectful situation, only to be brought to the shelter and put on the EU list! We stepped in and saved him and his sweet siblings in the nick of time! They have blossomed and been shown so much love. Gravik is especially fond of Churu treats and its a great motivator to get him out of his initial shell. Bring out the laser pointer and a wand toy and you've got yourself a new little buddy! We think adopting him with one of his siblings or into a home with another cat would be ideal for him to continue to grow in confidence and allow his sweet, playful personality to really shine through! He's also the perfect colors for Fall, so come get your new bestie!  He was fostered in a lively home with other cats, a small dog, and two kids! He doesn't seem to mind our little dog's barking, although they haven't spent much time together but Gravik would probably do just fine in a house with a cat-friendly dog as he's a needs-a-buddy-kind-of-kitten. He is litterbox trained, eats dry kibble and has never said no to a bowl of wet food! Gravik and his siblings are named after Marvel Comics characters from Secret Invasion.  show less

Gucci was rescued from Garland Animal Shelter. Her family moved and decided not to take her along. At 11 years old and declawed she was scared and confused. Since being in foster care she has relaxed and has been affectionate and loves her foster mom. She sleeps on the bed every night at her foster mom's feet. She prefers not to sit in your lap but will sit by you. If you are looking for a quiet companion to sit by you while you watch tv or have your morning coffee, Gucci is the girl for you. But keep in mind she has been through a lot with losing her family of 11 years. She may be slow to warm up and hide at first. But with love and patience she will trust and blossom like she has in her foster home.    She has been diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease but it is currently under control with a special diet and daily medication.  show less

Ixchel was found wandering outside an elementary school in North Dallas. She was desperately trying to find a warm, safe place as she was very pregnant and needed a place to give birth. She would try to get into school so her foster felt compelled to save her. Her 6th grade students helped, grabbing a box and brought Ixchel into the classroom. She rested for a moment and then they made her a nice quiet space in the art closet. She gave birth a few hours later to 5 kittens. She was only 7 months at the time, still a kitten herself. Ixchel was a wonderful mommy to her babies and they have all found homes. She is the only one remaining. Ixchel is so loving and sweet. She enjoys taking naps next to you when you are working and loves naps in your lap when you are watching tv. She is also very patient, she gets along with children and loves being around people. She gets along with other cats. show less

Jax is ready for his forever home. He, his four siblings, and mom were abandoned on a hot, sweltering Texas summer day this past September.  This sweet boy is playful, smart and a purr machine. Once he gets used to you he'll nap next to, or even on, you! Most days you'll find Jax chasing his brother around until they both tire out. He also enjoys being pet and playing with string toys.  He's litter box trained and is curious about everything around him. Jax has not been around small children or dogs, however I'm certain he'd do great with the proper introduction.
