Adela came to us through our humane agents with 2 other dogs after they were left abandoned in a home. When our agents arrived to get them, they were tied to the porch in a tangled mess. Sweet Adela is about 6 years old. She is a little shy at first, but loves fiercly and is such a sweetheart. She loves stuffed animals and treats, and is a pro on the leash. Adela would do fine with gentle kids, and would love some human siblings to cuddle with. She seems to do okay with other dogs, although we would require a meet and greet with any other dogs in the home. Boog came to us with his friend Chino after they were abandoned. Boog is a super cute 1 year old Chihuahua, and has tons of personality. He is shy at first, but once he warms up he will be your little buddy. He does fine with other dogs, would probably be fine with cats, and needs a home without small children. Demi came to us through our humane agents with 11 other dogs in a severe neglect case. This poor girl was living in filth, with feces and urine covering every inch of the home. They all had severe skin issues and were covered in scabs and cuts. On top of their skin issues, they were all extremely emaciated and in constant competition for food. Some were so skinny that we weren't even sure they would make it. Thankfully, they all pulled through. After medicated baths, antibiotics, and lots of love, the dogs from this home are finally healthy and ready to find their homes.  Demi is a beautiful 1 year old terrier mix. She is super sweet and affectionate and will make the best companion. She is shy at first, and will take a little while to warm up. Demi LOVES toys, people, and treats. She is perfectly content being attached to your leg all day, and giving true meaning to the term "velcro dog". Basically, she's perfect. Because of the conditions Demi and the 11 others from this case lived in, they do all have aggression toward other dogs (especially around food). Demi is the one out of the bunch that doesn't seem to have issues with other dogs, but we are not going to take any chances considering the circumstances she came from. For this reason, Demi will be best as an only pet. This sweet girl has more than enough love to spread around a home, so we promise she is MORE than worth it. Eden came to us through our humane agents with 11 other dogs in a severe neglect case. While the other 8 dogs were confined to a filthy home, Eden and her 3 puppies were confined in the back yard. They did have some shade, but lived out there 24 hours a day where Eden was bred over and over again. Eden wasn't as skinny as the rest of them, but she definitely had battles of her own with skin and socialization issues. This sweet girl has come around full swing and is finally healthy enough to find her forever home.  Eden is a beautiful 3 year old terrier mix. She is a bit shy at first, and will sink to the ground when you try to pet her. Once she gets comfortable she is the sweetest girl and absolutely loves people and belly rubs. She is obsessed with treats, so that should make teaching her basic skills a breeze. Eldon came to us through our humane agents after his owner could no longer care for him. He was found outdoors in a small kennel, so we really aren't sure how much of "the good life" he's actually experienced through his life. This sweet boy is about 8 years old, and loves people. He loves balls and stuffed animals, and is happy to show them to you proudly. Eldon is very stressed here at the shelter after being in a home for the last 8 years. He seems slightly picky with other dogs, but fine with females for the most part. Because of the situation these dogs came from, they all do have aggression toward other dogs (especially around food). For this reason, Foxy needs to be the the only pet. Juicy came to us with another dog after her owner passed away. This crazy girl is about 6 months old, and is actually the Energizer Bunny in disguise. She is very active, very sweet, and very entertaining. Juicy loves all things treat related, and loves to play. She would to great in an active household, and would be a perfect fit for a family with kids. Juicy seems to do great with other dogs, but she has no boundaries so she would need a doggie sibling that would be okay with that until she learns some manners. Maeble came to us through our humane agents in a neglect case with 80 other dogs. Maeble is about 5 years old and is the definition of sweet. This girl loves to cuddle and give kisses. She is very fun and playful and would do great with an active family. She loves toys and walks, and would make the best companion. Maeble is dog selective, but doesn't seem to mind cats and would be a GREAT fit for kids. Maeble hopes to find a loving family soon! show less

Malcom came to us through our humane agents after his owner was hospitalized. After seeing his living situation and body condition, it was decided that he would not be going back to his previous owner. Malcolm is a very sweet boy who is very much so still a puppy. He has tons of puppy energy and loves to play. Malcolm is very touch and go with men, and has not done well with men at his past few meet and greets. For this reason we would not advise adopting him to a home with men. Malcolm would do great with kids over 12. He is a very good boy, and needs someone who sees that. She was left in the basement which was covered in feces, and was so excited to finally be leaving that place. She is an absolute sweetheart who is blind in one eye, but that doesn't slow her down once bit. She doesn't even notice she can't see from that eye, and it gives her a lot of character. She is very active, so would do great in an active family. She doesn't seem to love other dogs here, so she might do best as the only dog in the home. No doubt he was getting beat up on the worst. On top of their skin issues, they were all extremely emactiated and in constant competition for food. He is shy at first, and seems like he will need a little time to be comfortable with his new people. He is very very sweet, and loves cuddles, kisses, treats, and toys. Trip does not like other dogs, and you can't blame him with how bad the others in the house bullied him. Because of the conditions Trip and the 11 others from this case lived in, they do all have aggression toward other dogs (especially around food).
