Rocky came to be my foster in early June when he was found as a stray in Riverside. I learned quickly that he was used to spending his time outside and that’s where he felt the most comfortable. I could tell that he was left in the backyard with very little interaction with people. Rocky learned to be the way he is for 5 years!  He has learned to change a lot of what he learned in a few short months.  I worked with Rocky as much as I knew how to but he needed more help then I could give him. He went to a 3 week board and train program.  Rocky has learned: The inside with his people is a much better place to be!   He loves to go on his walks and is learning commands.  The crate isn’t so bad but he really wants to be out of it.  Toddlers are scary sometimes but he can be in the room with them. Although he would be better in a home with no kids or a home that has kids that visit.  He is less anxious now then when he came to live with us.  He is fine with a small female dog or being the only dog.  He loves to play with his toys! Rocky is looking for a family who will continue to work with him. He needs to have someone who will allow him to take his time to get to know and trust them.   He has so much love to give💙 If you have any questions about Rocky I am more  than happy to chat with you.  show less
