0321167 My name is Cathy and I am an 8 year young 10.5 lb chihuahua mix. I just finished raising my last litter and am ready to permanently retire from this whole mom thing. My foster mom is pretty sure I was used as someone’s puppy producer for a long time. But even so I still love people, well women that is. Men kind of scare me. I have a foster dad everyone keeps telling me is a nice guy, but I am not convinced. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t bite, after all I am a lady. My weapon of choice is the deep growl or the bark. I would really love to find a quieter home where if there are men they will understand I need time and patience to accept them. My foster mom is great though. I love sitting on her lap or licking her face. I’m good with kids of all ages too, but a lot of noise scares me. I get along with all the furry foster siblings in the house too, but I am not a big rough houser. After all I am 8 and have been there done that with who knows how many of my puppies. As far a potty training goes, well I’m not. I am trained to go on potty pads, but if I can’t find them a nice soft rug will do. I am learning to go outside, but this will take time. I really prefer a good clean potty pad in a nice warm house. If you think you are the person that will love on me and keep me safe during my retirement years I’d love to meet you. show less

0321107 I need a single family home since I seem to be part pittie! I can NOT go to a home in a city or county with pitbull restictions. I am also heartworm positive. Heartworm is NOT contagious. The rescue covers the cost of treatment at the rescue's vet.  Hi there! Have you been lacking a cuddle companion lately? Me too! They call me Chata, but my foster mom says I think my name is "Chacha" because I'm always dancing. I don't just walk from place to place, I hop, leap, bound, and tap dance in place. She calls me a goofball, but really I just can't contain my excitement for my second chance at life. My favorite things to do are give kisses, cuddle, and play with my stuffies (those are my absolute favorite!). I got to pick out my very own stuffed unicorn at the store and now she's my bestie - we even sleep together.  I think humans, big and small, are absolutely the best! I love my 2 little foster humans - but sometimes I need to sniff someone first to make sure they are going to be nice to me. My foster family tells me I'm super smart! I learned to sit in 1 day and love to give my paw. I even know how to drop things on command while playing fetch! Impressed? You should be! I would really love a family who is willing to let me snuggle up with them. I'm totally potty trained and will bark to let you know I need to go outside. I don't need to be in my crate, but if I MUST- I don't mind. In the past, I was not treated kindly by other dogs. This has left me very scared of them, so I would prefer to be in a home with no other animals right now. However, with my brains and some training, I think I could be taught to love other dogs again. Please consider being my permanent cuddle buddy, my foster mom says I need a family as SWEET as I am. show less

0321125 I need a single family home with a fenced in yard since I require lots of physical and mental stimulation! I also seem to be part pittie, so I can NOT go to a home in a city or county with pitbull restrictions! I am also heartworm positive. Heartworm is NOT contagious. The rescue covers the cost of treatment at the rescue's vet. Chiquita (Quita) is a sweet little pointer mix.  The rescue thinks she's around 5 or 6 years old.  This little girl has had puppies and is now ready to be pampered by her new forever family!  She is heartworm positive but is doing great on her treatment regimen.  She has tons or energy when she's playing outside with her dog friends but she quickly learns the rules for inside behavior.  She loves to just chill on the couch and snuggle with you while she plays with her toys.  She loves other dogs and people, loves to play with toys and is just all around a sweet pup.  She's house trained and know basic commands.  She also learns very quickly.  She's always curious about what the humans are doing and will follow you around watching and learning your routines.  She doesn't jump, doesn't lick, she's just a joy to have around!  She does have some wear on her little front teeth, maybe from being bored in a kennel for too long?  We haven't had to kennel her as she has been very well behaved in the house.   Little Quita is excited to find her forever home!  Please contact us if you're interested in adopting this very special girl! show less

0421071 I need a single family home with a fenced in yard since I require lots of physical and mental stimulation! I also seem to be part pittie, so I CANNOT go to a home in a city or county with pitbull restrictions! Hello World! Our names are Hyperion (I am the only one with white on my face), Cruis (when looking at me, my right paw is white), Rhea ( when looking at me, my left paw is white), and Phoebe (both my paws are white and the tip of my tail is white). We are the curious 4! We are all good on going potty on the potty pads when my foster mom doesn’t get us outside in time. As soon as she gets us out, we potty outside and do our other business. We have been so good about only pooping outside. We just were neutered/ spayed on Thursday, so we are ready to go to our new Forever Families. Here are a couple things my foster mom has found out about us: Cruis - I am the adventurous one! I Love going out in the open space behind my foster moms house and exploring. I am afraid of the big dogs that bark at me behind the fence, but I just stay in between my siblings or jump into my foster moms arms. I Love kids and other dogs and love when they snuggle with me. I can’t wait to go hiking and travel all over with my new family Rhea- I am playful one! I love playing with my siblings, my foster moms kids, and her resident dogs. I Love when she takes me out in the open space so I can run, chase tennis balls, play tag and wrestle with my siblings, and see all the cool things nature has to offer. I can’t wait to go home to my new playful family. Phoebe- I am super curious but love to snuggle! I love following her little human and finding all these new places to explore with her. She just goes all over and I just follow her. Sometimes I get to go outside in the open space with the little human (of course my foster mom is there too) and she runs and I chase her. I love all the smells outside and keep my ears up for all those cool new sounds. The dogs on the other sides of the fence bark at me, but I just stop and look at them and then run to my little human. I love snuggle time too. I love snuggling with the older kids all the way down to the younger kids. I am so excited to meet my new forever family, go out with you on all your adventures and snuggle and nap after I am hoping to meet my new forever family this weekend! Take me home and I will be your best friend, your snuggle buddy, up for all your fun adventures, and your companion for life! I can’t wait to see where this new chapter takes each and every one of us. P.S.- I am my foster moms first puppy litter and she would love to get updates on us and how amazing our new homes are. show less

0321194 I need a single family home with a fenced in yard since I require lots of physical and mental stimulation! The Daring D Troop We are the Daring D Troop! We are 7 super girls led by Brother Doman (the only male and white pup)  We are GSD mixes and ready to conquer the world!  We came to CO by ourselves but found a safe home with 2 other foster brothers and 2 foster sisters.  We were born on February 1st, and came to CO on March 31st. Since then we have been having tons of fun with our foster brothers and sisters.  Since there are 8 of us, so we quickly established a potty area and sleeping area. But our foster mom sometime says we like dancing in our poo – she is pretty quick to get off her laptop working after we go an start dancing. hehehehe We did come to CO with mange, and most of us have our fur back, which make us really pretty and really soft. We just got fixed on April 14th, So we can’t have a bath until the 24th. Foster mom has been giving us sponge baths – We like those better, we try to help her by taking the cloth and showing her where to clean.  Brother Doman is the daring of us all. He was the first to figure out the secret opening when foster mom opens the pen to clean and discovered the out doors! Is it always wet in Colorado? Today he got yelled at by Foster mom because he figured out a way 3 times to climb out of our pen. Hehehehe The first and third time she found him on the love seat. The second time he climbed the pen to get our foster brothers porcupine stuffed animal.  We were cheering him on each time!  She locked down the climbable area’s of the pen now – so no more fun climbing for him. But she allows us to go outside while she cleans the pen. Some of us stay inside and make an adventure of the puppy room, others of us go with the older fosters and venture outside to the deck. Some of us are learning to potty out there too!  Since we don’t know our mom or dad, we don’t know how big we will be, but one thing for sure, we will love you forever. show less

0221139 I need a single family home with a fenced in yard since I require lots of physical and mental stimulation! Diesel AKA D, Son of Dot and unknown father. I am listed as a Lab mix and unlike my brother Dragon who was all black, I have white socks and a cute white chest.  I get along great with other dogs, but we can get into serious rumbles. I am all boy and love to wrestle! – But I am also a lover! ❤ I love playing with my younger foster brother and sisters they are only 2 months old, but lots of fun to play with. My favorite is 6 month foster brother CJ. He and I have a great time, often napping together. My 2 older foster sisters sometime play a little too rough with me, (She still think she is a puppy, but she is a year old).  I am about 4 months old and love to discover new things. I mastered the stairs just a few weeks ago and love going up and down it. I sleep with my Foster mom at night, and have kinda figured out how to get into her high bed, but I usually let her pick me up and set me in bed – she seems to like that.  I don’t really like that white stuff that comes down, its really cold. But I like it went its melting and jumping in puddles. I love spending time outside in the sun and playing in the yard.  I still have a couple accidents in the house, but I got this house training thing Foster Mom keeps teaching me almost down. I like it when she gets all excited after I poo or pee outside – I really don’t get it.  My foster mom lets me lie down on top of her recliner or by her side as she is working, and I sleep next to her at night. When she is away, I have this kennel with the comfiest bed in it and she always gives us all a treat before she goes on her errands – she doesn’t go often enough honestly.  She gives us bananas, apples, carrots, some yogurt for treats. One of her Puppies turned one last month and we got this thing call puppichino and an frozen puppy treat. Those were yummy!  She has these things that smell like beef, chicken, sometime liver. They are really small, and I have to sit, go to the kennel, lie down or something before she give me one of those.  They are yummy, but she doesn’t just let us have them like she does the carrots and apples. show less
