Scout is a super playful, smart, fun loving 4-ish years, 10-pound neutered male terrier mix who loves to have a good time, play and give kisses.   He is recovering beautifully from a tough past.  Now that he’s in a loving foster home he has relaxed into being the good natured, fun loving pup he truly is.  He will still require training work to overcome his behavioral issues but we have no doubt that he will be a fabulous BFF to whomever puts in the time to help this fantastic dog.   Everyone who meets Scout is amazed by how smart he is and how quickly he picks up on his training exercise.  He’s also a very proud little guy and feels very accomplished & happy when he achieves training goals.  Scout needs a home with NO dogs or cats and NO children, with someone patient and consistently committed to working on his continued growth & recovery.  He is mostly pee pad trained, but still has some trust issues and needs harness and leash conditioning until he can be walked outside. Scout has recently learned how much he LOVES playing fetch! Waggytail will cover some sessions with our approved behavioral trainer for this special boy.  Vaccinated for rabies, DA2PP, and bordetella. Neutered, microchipped, and heartworm negative.  Please contact us DIRECTLY using the instructions below if you are interested in adopting one of our Waggytails! Visit our website (www.waggytailrescue.org) for an adoption application.
