Meet Alina! Alina is a beautiful coonhound mix born roughly 02/17/2023. She came to us as an overheated and scared little pup alongside a few friends, and this beautiful girl stole our hearts. Alina can be a little reserved and shy for new places and faces, but once she warms up this girl is the queen. She is as sweet as sugar and gorgeous too. Alina is still building her confidence and becoming the dog she is inside, but she is making huge strides and showing us her personality more and more every day. Meet Arabella! This lovely lady is finally ready for her forever home. Arabella is a sweet hound mix born roughly 03/31/2018. Miss Arabella was rescued by one of our wonderful fosters when she was heavily pregnant, she ended up giving birth to a whopping fourteen puppies less than a day later! This amazing momma dilligently nursed all the babies she could, but was struggling to produce enough for such a large litter and keep herself fed too. Four of her little puppies went to another nursing mom to surrogate, and with a lighter load, miss Arabella bloomed! She was a wonderful momma to her remaining babies, and now that they are weaned and all out on their own, it's time to focus on mom! Miss Bell is the most wonderful girl, she loves attention and affection. She is, like many hounds, a wonderful singer too. Meet Caliber! Caliber is searching for a home to call his own! Caliber came into our facility as a stray and was sadly never claimed. Caliber was extremely scared of his surroundings and was skin and bones upon arrival. Since his arrival he has recieved some much needed TLC and plenty of meals on his belly! Caliber is an extremely handsome pit mix that weighs approximately 55lbs and his estimated date of birth is 01/01/2021. Caliber is a certified sweetheart here at the shleter! He loves gentle pets and plenty of reassurance! Caliber has done great with other dogs and children! Caspia- 31 flavor mix, 1 years old.  loves playing with other dogs and kids. She also likes cats. She knows how to sit. Caspia came to us as a stray and was never claimed, when she was spayed it was apparent she had been shot before and she had multiple bb's throughout her body. One of which is in her tongue. Meet Copper! This big handsome guy is on the lookout for his forever family. Copper is a hefty German Shepherd Dog mix, his birthday is 07/01/2016, and he weighs in around 90lbs. Copper has the most beautiful creamy colored coat, and the best personality you could ask for. He is all love and has never met a stranger, his even temper and easy going attitude makes him a unicorn among shepherds! Although he is steadily entering his senior years, Copper is still full of life and love and doesn't let anything slow him down. He came in with his two little sisters, and has been with them their whole lives. Although he isn't required to go to the same home as them, Copper would be thrilled to, or to be adopted by a family with another dog. Meet Durk! Durk was born roughly 01/12/2022, and is a handsome pitbull mix. He came in as a stray in the summer of 2022, and has been a goofy little guy since day one. When he came in, he was so dusty we actually thought he was tan instead of black, so he earned the affectionate nickname "Dirt". He is still young and full of energy, but that's part of what makes him so great. He loves to tussel and play with other dogs, although we always require a meet and greet if you already have any. He goes bananas for a good toy, specifically anything that squeaks or has stuffing (although it might not last very long). He may come across a little hyper and wild, but we can promise that under all the energy and play drive he is such a sweet pup. He has made friends with much of the staff here and loves getting treats and attention whenever he can. He is also very smart, and knows the  "sit" command, his name, "off", and is learning to behave himself on walks too. He can be overexcited when he gets out on a leash, which can turn into him gnawing the leash itself and trying to jump on his handler, but he is improving this behavior all the time. He also loves car rides, and would be happy to join you on trips to get pup cups and snacks. We require a kitty-free home for Durk, but we think he would do well in a home with kids. Meet Gatorade! Gatorade, or Gator, is ready for his forever family. Gator came in as a scared little pup, found wandering all on his own. Meet Gilmore! This gentle pup is looking for his forever home! Gilmore is a handsome pitbull terrier mix that weighs about 48lbs and his estimated date of birth is 12/01/2020.Whether it's the loving look in his eyes or the warm embrace in his hugs Gilmore will defintely melt your heart in an instance. This sweet gentleman hasn't has the easiest upbringing, he came in with a group of dogs that were all skin and bones and not one of them knew when their next meal would be. Despite these hardships Gilmore never let it bring him down, he's so loving and nurturing to anyone he comes across. Gilmore is head over paws for other dogs and children. Meet Harold! Harold is a handsome devil. We estimate his birthday to be 11/01/2021, and he is a stunning red shepherd/pit mix. He is full of life and excitement and wants nothing more than to have a new best friend and a place to call home! He's a big guy, weighing in just under 70lbs, but he has a heart of gold and the soul of an angel. He is still working on his obedience every day, such as not jumping when he's excited, and not pull on a leash, but with his huge urge to please we know a steady hand and some repetition we know he could be trained well in a snap. Harold is one of the friendliest dogs in our care, if he lays eyes on you be prepared to have a new best friend. He also does fantastic with other dogs, though as always we require a meet and greet if you already have one. He loves children too, but sometimes isn't aware of how big he is, something to keep in mind if you have little ones. Meet Jagger! Jagger is here and ready to make some friends. Jagger came to us as a stray who was sadly never claimed, and now this big guy is looking for some new digs. We estimate him to have been born in early 2021, and he is a tall labadore retriever mix. This young guy is still learning that he's all grown up, meaning he loves to run and play! His favorite past time, aside from sniffing every new smell, is running around and stretching his legs. Jagger is as handsome as he is spunky, with his striking black and white coat, and he struts his looks like nobody's business. He is still working on his basic manners and obedience, but he is making great strides, and quickly too. He is starting to respond to his name, knows the "sit" command, and is walking well on a leash already. Jagger is highly treat motivated, and learns very quickly with a confident guide and some tasty snacks. Jagger would do best as an only pet, as he sees cats as toys and other dogs as competition for affection, but with his big personality he could make any home feel full. He loves to chew on kongs and chase tennis balls, and his perfect home would probably come with a big fenced in yard and a new best friend to teach him how to play fetch. Meet Jasmine!  Jasmine is one sweet angel ready to soar away with your heart. Jasmine is a gorgeous brindle and white pitbull mix, her estimated DOB is 04/01/2020. Meet Jepard!  This handsome shepherd wants to find his forever home. Jepard came in to us like many others as a stray who was never claimed. Sweet Jep was hungry, nervous, and starved for love. We fixed him right up, and now here he is! Jepard is, of course, a German Shepherd mix, with an estimated birthday of 01/01/2018. He may be well into his adulthood, but Jep is still full of life and wants to run and play the days away. Jep loves sniffing and tracking all sorts of smells in the grass, and we think he would love a large yard of his own to roam as he pleases. Exploring and playing aren't the only thing he loves, though, Jepard can definitely get behind a long nap on a comfy bed or couch. Jepard is good with other dogs, although he tends to like being the one in charge of the friendship. Of course, we always require a meet and greet if you've already got any other dogs at home anyways. He is very interested in cats, perhaps not in the best way, so we recommend a home without. Due to his energy level and him not fully understanding his size, he is best suited to a home with no kids under 10.  Jepard is fully vetted and microchipped, & neutered. His adoption fee is sponsored.  Due to his breed and energy, we do require a home visit for any potential adopters. Meet Koda Grace!  This sweet lady is looking for a retirement home. Koda came in with severe medical issues that resulted in one of her rear legs being amputated. She was born 02/01/2012, so she is in her golden years! Koda is a gorgeous german shepherd mix, and although she can come across a little grouchy at first, she is a real doll to be around. Koko went through months of treatments, fighting infections, tearing stitches, and lots of baths. She may have hated every second of it, but this tough lady took it all like a champ. Although she is an amputee now, she gets around wonderful and loves going on leisurely walks to stretch her remaining three legs. She is very, very food motivated, and treats are definitely the way to her heart. She knows her name and walks well on a leash, and although its not quick, she knows the "sit" command too. Koda Grace does well with some dogs but not all, so as always we require a meet and greet if you've already got any. She is suited to a cat-free home, and a home with no kids under 12.  Due to her age and lack of a fourth leg, she has some arthritis, and Koda will need to remain on pain medications for the rest of her life. A starting supply of these will be provided to her new home. A home without stairs is a requirement for her, and we may require a home visit for potential adopters of this special girl.  Koda is fully vetted and microchipped. Meet Kong! Handsome pitbull mix, born roughly 1/15/19, and weighs roughly 65lbs. Loves people and squeaky toys, and snuggling on the couch.
