Abner is a distinguished gentleman who is perfecting the art of couch napping, cuddles, and munching on treats.  This sweet boy is past his teen years abut you would never know it by the way he runs around at doggy daycare.  He gets along with everybody (dogs, cats, kids) and would be a great Hulu watching buddy, but be careful because a big gust of wind might carry him away on those ears!  He is so goofy and will keep you constantly entertained with his antics. Abner does not like being left alone for long periods of time and really enjoys having companions around for wrestle sessions and naps. **This dog is heartworm positive and is being treated by the rescue and is available for foster to adopt for a local family that is comfortable with the restriction requirements for the duration of treatment. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an application.  We do allow out of state adoptions and any transport costs are at the expense of the adopter.  If you have further questions about this dog, please email us at ccradopt@gmail.com and someone will be in touch as soon as possible. Annie is a scared girl who doesn't understand why she had to leave her last home.  She was surrendered through no fault of her own when her family went through some unexpected changes.  She is very nervous and doesn't quite trust us yet, but she's getting there.  HOwever, she is a very well mannered house guest and can be left loose without tearing anything up, and seems to be fully house trained.  While she may take some time to warm up to you, this beauty will be well worth it.  **This dog is heartworm positive and will be treated by the rescue and will be available for foster to adopt for a local family that is comfortable with the restriction requirements for the duration of treatment. Bark Twain, or BT, is such a sweet old soul that will just mage your heart melt. One look and it's obvious that he has had a rough life. The way he reacts to being held close and snuggled will make your heart melt. And don't get me started on how much this boy loves a good butt rub!! He could barely see out of his infected, irritated eyes but an entropion surgery has him feeling much better!  He is now going through heartworm treatment and is being a fighter.   **This dog is heartworm positive and will be treated by the rescue and will be available for foster to adopt for a local family that is comfortable with the restriction requirements for the duration of treatment. Cogsworth came to rescue from a rural shelter.  He's obviously had a very traumatic life but he remains the sweetest guy.  He has some pretty significant scaring from an embedded collar, possibly multiple, and also has some old scars across his face where he's suffered some cuts as well.  He may not be the prettiest dog on the outside, but he's got a heart of gold and loves everyone.  Cogsworth does take a litte time to warm up at first and can be a bit shy, but he's learning the ropes of life indoors, without the pain he's probably known his whole life.  His foster parent adore him and have made it their mission to find him the best family ever, the family that can look past his flaws and see the perfect dog he truly is! Sweet and shy are the best two words to describe the adorable boy Montie.  He may be afraid of his own shadow, but he's quickly learning that cuddles with his foster dad are pretty awesome.  He loves the company of other dogs and is incredibly sweet and gentle.  He is quite the night owl and really enjoys midnight romps in the backyard! His foster mom says: He wake me up in the morning by sticking is face on my bed, waits for me to roll over, then licks my face then he sits patiently next to the bed and waits for me to get up.  When I get home in the afternoon he is so excited he howls, barks, and "smiles" big.  He likes to jump up and give hugs.  He is also pretty food motivated.  He loves pizza crust.  He gets a treat at night and waits patiently in his crate for it.  He is fully house trained and loves his crate. Montie is learning that people can be good and kind, and he would love a home that wants a home body dog that feels safe in your home but doesn't necessarily want to go on walks. Check out how cute he is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EkTJHT6hQ2Y If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an application.  We do allow out of state adoptions and any transport costs are at the expense of the adopter.  If you have further questions about this dog, please email us at ccradopt@gmail.com and someone will be in touch as soon as possible.
