Mr. Dean [and his adorable tongue 😋😍] is the very *last* adoptable babe from mama Cassie’s litter, and he is crossing his paws that his forever family finds him soon! 🙏🏼 Dean (male) was born on 8/18/23, so is now just over 11 weeks old. Although we don’t know who Dean’s daddy was, his mom was a shepherd mix of sorts (we’ll post her photo in the comments!) with the sweetest demeanor and the softest, silkiest fur. 🥰 Dean is a fun, independent, and lovable dude! He is doing so wonderfully with his housebreaking when provided a consistent schedule; he has only had one accident in his foster home, so he definitely picks up on things quickly! He sleeps through the night, and loves to play…especially outside. He isn’t a huge fan of the rain, and likes to bark at the rain if he has to be outside in it. 🌧️😂 Dean loves his 4-legged pup friends (he holds his own and although he’s smaller, likes to be in charge…so can play a little on the rough side!), but he especially LOVES kids! The 8 year old in his foster home is his all-time favorite person. He would love a family with kiddos of his own to love on! As of yet Dean hasn’t met any kitties, but with his young age — provided the proper introduction  & maintenance — he would likely do just fine. This happy, goofy (+ little bit chonky 🙃) lady is Gracie, and she is in-search of a forever family to call her very own! 🫶🏼 If anyone remembers our “Criminal Minds” litter (Spencer, Derek, JJ, Morgan, Penelope, Rossi, etc.)…this is their mama! 💕 Gracie was transferred from Monroe County shelter when she was in dire need of placement and *just* about to give birth. ⏳ One of our amazing fosters stepped in, so Gracie was able to give birth + raise her pups in the comfort of a home. Fast-forward to today…Gracie is ready for her own forever, and we can’t wait to see her finally find it! 🥹 Mama Gracie is 3 years old, and is a Treeing Walker Coonhound/American bulldog mix — we will post her Wisdom Panel DNA results in the photos! She does need to shed a few pounds, so would love a person/family to take her on adventures + ensure she gets plenty of exercise! She is crate-trained and 100% potty-trained (win! 🙌🏼). She does pretty well walking on-leash, and does better when having the opportunity to practice/walk on-leash more often. Gracie does well with other dogs, and [while not required] would probably love another 4-legged playmate! She loves to play with toys, and especially enjoys playing fetch. And last [but SURELY not least 😍🫶🏼], from Mama Charlotte’s boys: Gus! 💙 Gus (male) and his siblings were born on 8/5/23, so are now just over 12 weeks old. Their vet papers list them as heeler/boxer mixes, but mama Charlotte is brindle (we will post her photo in the comments) and most definitely could have some pittie mixed in as well. Really, your guess is as good as ours! 🤷🏼‍♀️ Gus is a happy, cuddly, playful and silly pup. He currently weighs 12lbs, so we’d estimate that he’ll be a medium-sized adult (possibly 45-55lbs). Gus is such a sweet little snuggler. 🤍 He is the smallest of the boys, but that doesn’t deter him from loving to run, wrestle, and play-play-play with his 4-legged friends! And afterwards, curling up for a nice snooze on the laps of his humans. 😴 Gus is still a young guy, so will need continued assistance + a regular potty-training schedule, lots of positive reinforcement as he adjusts to being crated without his siblings, and plenty of socialization + training as he learns & grows! This adorable-as-ever dude is Iron, and he is in-search of a forever family he can call his own! 🥰 Iron (male) is a 1 year old yellow lab mix who weighs-in @ 50lbs. He was sprung from a very overcrowded shelter down south, and is now enjoying life with his foster family in Wisconsin…but he just can’t wait to find the family he can settle down with, forever! 💛 He is the SWEETEST boy, with so, SO much love to give. 🫶🏼 Iron’s all-time favorite thing is being held like a baby and getting allllll of the love + kisses + snuggles he can! 😍 He does great with both dogs in his foster home; he really seems to match their play-styles. When he came into the shelter he was with a 15lb pup, so he’s proven to do well with dogs both big & small, young & old. He’s a wonderful boy! He is kennel-trained and does great being crated. He sleeps through the night without a peep, but would most definitely prefer snuggling in bed with his humans if given the choice. 🙃 Iron does pull a little on-leash prior to being able to potty, but after potty-time does pretty well! He will continue to learn and improve with additional training! He is definitely a people-pleaser and wants to do best by his humans. He’s currently working on not jumping + keeping all 4 paws on the ground, so young kiddos/toddlers may not be in his best interest…with his desire to jump + his strength, he does have the potential to knock them over! Iron does bark at “scary” people that he doesn’t yet know, so apartment living also may not be best for him. He would love a fenced-in yard, but also does great on a tie-out if provided plenty of exercise! He would do great with other dogs, or would also be just fine soaking up all of the attention for himself. 🥰 Overall, he is the bestest boy with the biggest heart. Look at this adorable little squish! 😍😍 Jonah (aka our roly-poly “potato” 🙃) is nearly ready to land an adoptive family of his very own, so we are sharing his sweet face far & wide! 🥰 Jonah (male) is 7 weeks old and weighs-in @ 6lbs. And while we don’t really know what his breed mix is (a pittie of sorts, but really your guess is as good as ours! 🤷🏼‍♀️), we do know that he came in with his mama — Daisy — who is pictured playing with him in the bottom, right-hand photo. Daisy was found down south running on the side of the road. When her rescuer went to pick her up, they discovered that Jonah was with her. They searched for additional puppies, but found none…so mama and Jonah made the trek north in-hopes of better, forever lives. ❤️ Jonah is a spunky, chunky, goofy little dude! 😂 He gives the best snuggles; he will fall asleep for a good snooze cuddled into the arms of his humans. 😴🥰 Jonah is a young guy so is still learning + adjusting to everything about home-life, but his foster family says he is making great strides every single day! He is doing great with going potty outside. When provided a solid schedule, he has been a rockstar with his housebreaking; he tends to do his business right when he’s let outside. Knox was born 3/31/2022 in a shelter in Iowa and shelter life is all he's ever known nearly TWO years later. He is in a foster home currently learning how to dog but his progress will take time. He will need a PATIENT and understanding home and a family who will continue training and socializing with Knox. We are still learning much about him but so far he enjoys exploring the back yard, enjoys to be around people but can also be a little skittish so, for now, we recommend no small children. Life goals?? Lovely miss Morgan is a 9 month old white & brown American bulldog/hound mix who finds herself in-need of a new forever home. ❤️ Morgan (female) absolutely loves to play and explore! She’s sure to steal your heart with her adorable floppy ears and big brown eyes. 🥰 She is a curious pup who is always eager to explore the world. When she’s not busy playing, Morgan very much enjoys her nap time. 😴 She also thoroughly enjoys belly rubs and ear massages. 🫶🏼 She’s a loyal friend who will stick by your side through thick and thin…and she’s ALWAYS up for a good snuggle session! This adorable dude is Raptor, and he just happens to be in the market for a forever family he’s able to call his own! 🫶🏼 Raptor (male) is a sibling to Pumpkin, Solo, and Spice, and was born on 8/28…so is just now under 13 weeks old! He is as cute and snuggly as he is sweet. 🥰 He loves to cuddle, and is an especially great assistant to his foster mom who works from home! Raptor loves chew toys, enjoys playing outside with the two other dogs in his foster home (& would especially adore another pup-friend in his forever home), and gets along very well with children. He is also kitty-friendly! Raptor sleeps through the entire night in his kennel and doesn’t make a fuss, but does definitely prefer to sleep in the bed with his humans. 🙃 He is continuing to work through his potty-training (& is doing pretty well when provided with a solid, consistent routine), but is still getting the hang of knowing how to alert his people when he needs to be let out. Everyone meet Rocky! 🧡 He is a BIG boy, with BIG amounts of love to give 🥰 (…& maybe just a bit of drool, too 🤤😂). Rocky (male) is a local pup who found himself homeless — due to no fault of his own — until a kind soul took him in; which is when he then found himself as a member of the New Leash family. He is a handsome guy who is 4 years old, weighing in @ 107lbs! He is an absolute sweetheart! He may be an oversized boy, but has the softest, most loving demeanor…with the cutest snore! 😍😴 Rocky gets along with other dogs of all ages and sizes. He has been with puppies, seniors, playful dogs, and alpha dogs…and he does wonderfully with all! Although it’s not a requirement, he would really love another 4-legged friend to play with in his forever home. He has also been around cats and done just fine. In addition, he pays no attention whatsoever to rabbits or squirrels! Overall he’s a pretty chill dude. Rocky’s favorite things? BALLS!! 🎾🎾🎾 He loves to play (+ play keep away 😉). He is completely potty-trained and is a decent leash-walker, but does tend to pull when seeing something he’s interested in. And keep in-mind…he’s a big, strong boy! When his humans aren’t home, we do recommend that Rocky be crated (he’s kennel-trained and does well with that), because he’s a smart guy who occasionally finds himself in the middle of mischief…like accidentally turning the stove on in his current foster home! 😳 Rocky does just fine with kids, but of course sometimes just doesn’t understand his own size…so this would be something to keep in mind in a home with young children. Sheba-Sheba! 😍 This beautiful brindle lady made her way to Wisconsin about a week & a half back…and [although we find it hard to believe] is still searching for her very own forever family! 🤞🏼 Sheba (female) is a pittie mix of sorts — with the most gorgeous coloring — who is currently between 10-11 weeks old. It may go without saying, but she is SO. CUTE. 🥰🥰🥰 Sheba may be a young pup, but for her age is really a pretty mellow gal. She is doing wonderfully with her potty-training. Her housebreaking has pretty much been spot-on when provided a consistent schedule, and does alert you when needing to be let outside. Sheba is also kennel-trained and sleeps there through the night; she doesn’t fuss when crated while her people are gone. She would do well in a home with another pup to play with! She loves the dogs in her foster home, and frequently likes play…& maybe even steal their toys. 😉🤷🏼‍♀️ Sheba is kiddo-friendly and has been around kids as young as ages 1-2. She especially loves to crawl up onto the couch next to her humans for a good snuggle session. 💕 She wants nothing more than to be around her person, and will follow you around the house just to be in your presence. She is learning all about walking on-leash, as well as doing her business when she’s on a tie-out. Sheba really is such a cutie. If you happen to be in the market for a snuggle-puppy…well, Solo understands the assignment! 😍😍 This cute lil’ man is simply as cuddly as they come, and — if you’re lucky — he + his precious cuddles could be yours forever! 🖤 Solo (male) is a lovable pittie (possibly bulldog? 🤷🏼‍♀️) mix who joined the New Leash crew with his siblings in the beginning of November. Solo was the only black babe of the litter, and also has the most adorable pot-belly + bully stance. 🥰 He was born on 8/28, so is now between 11-12 weeks old. He’s a sweet little guy who is learning new things every single day! He is working hard on his potty-training + alerting his foster family as to when he needs to be let outside. We don’t think that Solo and his siblings had much exposure to healthy housebreaking previously, so he’ll need a family who continues to work with him on his routine (with plenty of patience, of course! ☺️). He is currently being fostered in the same home as Dean, and [as you can see in the photo] they are two peas in a pod! 🥹 And while Solo doesn’t require another pup in the home…he certainly wouldn’t complain if he got to have a 4-legged forever sibling! ❤️ He’d also be a great fit for a home with kids (keeping in mind he’s still just a babe himself!). Taco. 🥰🌮 The perfect little man with the perfect name…which showcases his perfect amount of spiciness! 🙃 Taco (male) is a senior chihuahua (possibly miniature pinscher?) mix. He is 11 years young and weighs-in @ 11lbs. And although in his senior years, he still has an adequate amount of energy! He does look to have some cataracts, which for his age is pretty typical. As for his history…Taco was an owner surrender who made his way from down south; he desires nothing more than safety + stability for the remainder of his years. ❤️ He is a lap dog through and through, and would love to spend day in & day out lounging on the lap of his favorite human! His previous placement did notice that although he likes laps, he doesn’t enjoy being picked up from someone in a standing position; he much prefers when someone is sitting down. Taco bonds quickly to his human and they truly become his whole world. 🌎 In typical chihuahua fashion, he does have his quirks…but all-in-all is an incredible companion and friend. ☺️ Taco’s preference is definitely older kiddos and/or no kiddos in the home. While he does ok with teens, he can be a bit moody at times (can’t we all??? 😅). Therefore no young children is a must! He does just fine with other dogs (keep in mind his small size!) who are lower-energy, but does not appreciate high energy dogs who are in his space without his permission. He’d also love to be your one & only! Taco is a wonderful snuggler. 😍 He’s fully potty-trained, but his kennel is NOT a space he’s very fond of…& he will use his voice to let you know that! A home with limited stairs/without slippery stairs would be ideal. Some more of Taco’s favorite things: sleeping in bed, giving tiny nose kisses, going for walks [where he is so adorable, prancing like a pony 🥰🥰], running around the yard, and even a good play session when he’s feeling spunky! This beautiful babe is Tala, and she (+ those adorable long leggies of hers 😉) is hoping for a forever family she’s able to call her own! 🧡 Tala (female) made her way from Texas with her buddy Garth, and is now looking forward to a better, ✨forever✨ life! She is 7 months old and weighs-in @ 35lbs. She is thin-bodied + has legs for daysssss, and — while we don’t know her breed mix for certain — she definitely resembles some features of a greyhound. And maybe even some vizsla? Really, your guess is as good as ours! 🤷🏼‍♀️ Tala is just as sweet as pie. 🥰🥧 She loves to get up on her foster mom’s lap for a good snuggle session; we think this is something she has never known previously in life, so is super appreciative of any cuddles she can get! 💕 She also loves toys — she enjoys retrieving toys for play time/fetch time. Tala also loves other dogs and loves to play! However, she can tend to roughhouse and doesn’t necessarily know her own strength…so does much better with dogs her own size vs. smaller dogs. She is so, SO very smart! And along with her smarts she tends to be a busy-body (she’ll chew & dig if bored), so would do best in an active home and/or with a job to do. Tala is pretty much completely house-trained; her foster family has done a great job of giving her a consistent schedule. If this routine is continued, we have no doubts she’ll rock her housebreaking in her forever home! Crate-training has been a work-in-progress; Tala doesn’t love being alone, so will need someone who’s willing to continue to work with her to ensure that her crate continues to be a safe space for her. She would not be a good candidate for a home where she’s kenneled for long periods of time. She much prefers time with her pack, and can definitely be a bit of a velcro dog! She just loves her people. 💗 Tala has lots of energy to burn so a big yard/fenced-in area would be helpful. She’s not one where a simple leash walk around the neighborhood would meet her needs! She’ll probably make a phenomenal running buddy with some training + practice! 🏃🏼‍♀️ She is smart, curious, treat/toy motivated, and takes her treats nicely. We think she’d love another dog in her home to play with, help run off some energy, and teach her the ropes. As for cats, we don’t know that she’s yet been exposed…so we just can’t guarantee how she’d be with them. With her activity level, we’d recommend a home with kids who are ages 10+. Their vet papers list them as heeler/boxer mixes, but mama Charlotte is brindle (we will post her photo in the comments) and most definitely could have some pittie mixed in as well. Really, your guess is as good as ours! 🤷🏼‍♀️ Templeton is a sweet, snuggly, playful, and happy dude! He currently weighs 15lbs so we’d estimate that he’ll be a medium-sized adult (possibly 50-60lbs). Templeton is your typical cute & cuddly pup! He has fun playing, wrestling with 4-legged friends, learning new things every day, and curling up for a snooze with his people. Templeton is still a young guy, so will need continued assistance + a regular potty-training schedule, lots of positive reinforcement as he adjusts to being crated without his siblings, and plenty of socialization + training as he learns & grows!
