Brady is a two year old peach and white long hair. He is very fearful of humans but we are not giving up on him and hope to find a home that is willing to help him too. He was at a kill shelter on the euthanize list for being too fearful and its obvious to us he had zero socialization before arriving. He's worked with our staff and is still hesitant to accept pats and hides when people arrive.  A quiet home with patient humans. Brady is also availble for our barn cat program. For more info, email us at tchsPapillion@gmail.com The adoption fee is $125 and covers age appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter. Applications are typically worked in time stamp order based on date/time of submission.  If you have other cats in your home, they must all be up to date and spayed/neutered prior to application submission.  All members of the family must meet the pet.   Please note, we do NOT allow declawing of any cat or kitten that we adopt out.  But we will coach you on alternative methods of managing cats with claws *****We are currently operating by appointment only.   If you want to meet this pet, or are interested in adopting, please submit an inquiry or email to tchspapillion@gmail.com. Someone from the rescue will contact you and/or your family and determine, on a broad level, whether you might be a fit for the animal.  If so, they will provide instructions for completing the application. Your application will be reviewed and you will be contacted to set up a time to meet at the shelter or the foster home.   The introduction between you and the pet will be supervised by one of the cat team or the foster.   If all goes well, you can adopt during the same visit. 🔸WAITING SINCE SEPTEMBER 2020! 🔸 Cheetara is 2 years old, and rescued from the euthanize list for being too fearful - she still does not like to be touched unless its on her terms. She has been in a foster home before with small dogs and did fine. She loves to climb on cat trees and pass the time by looking out the window. Cheetara will need a home willing to allow a slow transition and who will just let Cheetara be herself. For more information on these ladies please email us at tchsPapillion@gmail.com #catsofinstagram #cats No kids for Cheetara as she will scratch when pressed too far.   The adoption fee is $125 and covers age appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter. Hi everyone, my name is Tookie.  It used to be Cookie when I was a baby. My daddy named me from the old George of the Jungle movie. “Awk Awk Eek Eek Tookie Tookie”. Well, you see, I have a dilemma. I love my mommy and daddy sooooo much, but I don’t really like having to share them with my sisters. And even though I am my mommy’s favorite, we decided what will make me the happiest is to be the one and only fur baby in someone’s life. My mom has been trying for a really really long time and she has done all the things to help me get over wanting to be an only kitty, but nothing is working. And she said that it’s ok, God just made some of us this way. You see, I don’t like the smell of my other sisters, so I make sure to mark my scent every place they go. I heard mommy trying to learn about it from Jackson Galaxy and I remember he said that I have something called Napoleon complex, whatever that means. About me. Well, I am the cutest, funniest, and most adorable baby ever. I am a petite girl – and 2 years old. Mom likes to boop boop me on my nose because she says I have a little heart on my nose and that I always have a sweet little smile on my face. I have 2 wings on my back, just like an angel she says and little black dots on my back paws. Mom says I am the sweetest baby and that I make her laugh because I have all these cute little traits. I love to get the zoomies but I love to cuddle too. In fact when I cry a long cry mom knows that means I want attention and I will stretch my arms up so she will pick me up and carry me on her shoulder like a baby. That makes me purr and purr, I fit just perfect. I sleep with her at night in case she gets scared. I bat my food around before I eat it because I am a fierce kitty hunter. I am pretty awesome if I do say so myself. My mom tells me all the time I am her favorite but that my other sisters are older and even though this is the hardest thing she has had to do, her and my vet doctor think I will live my best life being an only baby and as much as I will miss my mommy, I think I will be happier too. Would you have space for me to make me your own? I can’t be with any other brothers or sisters and would love to be in a home where I am spoiled since I just love my family so much. Cookie needs to be the only cat.   Kittens or cats CANNOT be declawed, for any reason.   We will gladly provide you with alternatives to this procedure.  Kittens do better with another kitten to play with.  This gives you a break and give them company when you’re not home. Cookie is fostered in Omaha and cannot be viewed at the shelter in Papillion. The adoption fee is $125 and covers age appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter. The adoption fee helps cover the cost of these vetting procedures. If you want to meet this pet, or are interested in adopting, please submit an inquiry or email to tchspapillion@gmail.com.  They will determine if you and/or your family are a fit and if so, provide instructions for completing the application.    After you have submitted an application and been approved, we will setup a “meet and greet” between you and the pet. Julius is a 2 yr old, 10lb. orange Domestic Long Hair. Julius is very handsome but is a bit of an Oscar the Grouch. He has come a long way!! He has finally joined the other cats in the cattery and has begun to socialize with them. Julius used to refuse touches but now is allowing short turns of petting. He still likes to hiss, so would not be good around children or with a first time cat-owner. He loves that hes at Town and Country where he can take all the time he needs.  He was a stray cat in Oklahoma and is still learning what it means to have the relaxed, cushy life of a pet. Julius loves wet food and allows being brushed by his favorite shelter staff.  Julius would prefer a quieter home where he can just be Julius. He really just needs a cat bed and a couple of treats to be content. Julius is cat friendly but could do with or without cat friends. Julius is overweight but is not interested in exercise.  The adoption fee is $125 and covers age appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter.
