Hi! I’m Sambo! I’m a boxer/terrier mix. I’m a little over a year old. I’m neutered! I am house trained and crate trained. I’m around 60lbs! I am told I do well on a leash. I also LOVE to play and sometimes forget my size. I get along with the senior dogs in my foster home. I have sniffed the two cats but they stay away from me. I love the two younger kids in my foster home as well! I am definitely still a puppy and I am told I need to learn some more manners. But I am a quick learner so that shouldn't be too hard! And I love to give kisses! I hope my new family is out there, I can't wait to start my new life with you! show less

Meet Scottie. After everything he's suffered, he's still so friendly. This poor guy was found on a very busy parkway extremely emaciated and barely able to move. He was picked up by a good samaritan and brought to the shelter, coved in fleas & ticks, she wanted us to call him Scottie so we did. He's only 38lbs and should be about 50lbs, looks to be around a year and a half old and he's good on a leash. He is slowly starting to feel better but he needs out of the shelter so he can get more frequent, smaller meals! 🥺  show less

Meet Shelly! Shelly is a beautiful girl who appears to be a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix, approximately 3 years old, 56lbs and spayed. She was discovered at someone's house as a stray, emaciated and starving. There were other dogs and kids there that she mingled with. She was protective of her food there but starving dogs usually are! She's so friendly and wants to be right next to you, much more interested in people than other dogs! Hi, I'm Sultan!  I am around 4 years old and believed to be a hound/terrier mix.  I am UTD on vaccines and neutered.  I'm around 50 lbs but short and stocky.  I am originally from Kentucky, but my owner passed away.  I came up to PA and stayed with my foster family for a few months until I got adopted in January.  My new family loved me but due to unforeseen circumstances (of no fault of my own) I had to go back to my foster family.  I am now hoping to find my true fur-ever home. I am such a good boy! I am completely housebroken and very polite on a leash.  My favorites are going for walks and snuggles on the couch.  I am a great companion and love to be by your side.  I get along great with dogs of all sizes, kids and cats!  My foster family even has chickens that I don't bother.  I get a little mouthy sometimes since I have some hound in me, but it doesn't last long.  I also like to go on adventures by myself occasionally so a fenced in yard and/or a home not close to a busy street would be best.  I always come back, I just like to see what else is out in the world! Pawsitively great to be here looking for my forever family!  My foster dad named me Sundance.  I am a light brindle color.  They say I am about 6 months old and not neutered yet.  I am about 17.4 pounds now and a small/medium terrier mix.  I get along with my brother and although I growled a little when I first met the other four large dog friends who are two old men and two girls.  I am unsure about my foster families cats,  I will bark at them if I see them and most likely will chase like my brother.  I do okay with my foster kid, she is 6 and sometimes I need to watch my sharp nails and puppy teeth when playing.   I am working on my manners.  I loved my bath.  My foster mom says I can jump and climb like a goat.  I am a messy and fast eater, but okay with my foster mom slowing me down.  I do not like to share food available and may bully my brother to back off.  I need reminders to keep down when jumping up on people or going for food.  I am beginning to learn to do certian things when my foster parents say sit, drop it, down, stay and stop what I'm doing if I hear no.  I can walk okay on a leash and working on using a doggie door.  I will let you know if I need to use go outside, if in my crate. I have not learned to signal when out of crate, but haven't had an accident inside yet.  I am starting to venture further independently, when outside with my foster family, but listen well when called or come back to feel safe if I get scared.  I love to get pet, love to cuddle and have started to play with some great toys.  I will bark if unsure of a sound, new people, see the cat or want out of my crate. Hi I'm T-bone! Life has not been that great for me in my short 6 months here in Ky. I've already had a collar embedded in my neck, it's almost healed up now tho. I am a very good boy, I like other dogs, don't pay much attention to cats and I loooove kids! I did get into a little trouble for killing a chicken, but I didn't know any better! Hey guys! I’m Thomas and have I got some love to give! They say all the good ones are taken but they’re wrong! I have a goofy and loving personality. I am still young at 8-9 months and would probably be best with kids over five since I’m a tall guy and don’t wanna knock over your lil guys. I love going for walkies and do pretty well on the leash.. unless my foster sister is pulling ahead then I match her energy my foster parents are in love with me and would love to keep me because from what I hear I am a 10/10! But I guess their house is too small for two 50ish lb dogs. Cuddling is my jam! And playing with my foster sister. I love toys and balls and treats... Let’s just say I am a doggy dog! Ya know? Let’s cuddle forever and gaze into each others eyes. My foster mom calls me terminator eye because I have one bright beautiful blue eye… and cute little eyelashes. Also I’m learning to sit, lay down and stay in my bed when it’s time to chillax. I do well in my crate all night and when people are at work. Im ~almost~ potty trained. The only accidents I’ve had are when I first came to my foster home and they let me cuddle in bed at night and I snuck down to the kitchen for a secret poo. So now I sleep in the crate and I don’t mind! Im a precious angel and will watch tv with you and cuddle or play or go for fun walks.
