Hi, I'm Miss Astra!  I'm about 5 months old.  My sister Luna and I ran right up to this nice lady who stopped to pick us up on the side of a busy road.  I am a very happy kitty who LOVES to cuddle.  I am so grateful to be indoors where it is safe and I have a wonderful foster family to keep me company.  I am an attention seeker.  I follow my humans everywhere and try to snuggle every chance I get.  I love to crawl up on my humans’ laps and get comfortable falling asleep.  I may seem shy at first but I only hide long enough to scope out my surroundings.  I am a very laid back girl who enjoys playing with my favorite toys.  I especially love balls and my scratching post.  Mealtimes are the best because I didn't get much when living outside.  Soft food is my favorite but I'm not a picky eater.  Luna and I were very lucky to be found.  I would love to show you how fun I can be and how happy I can make you.  I know you'd be a great forever home because you are already looking at my picture! show less

Bella (formerly known as Princesa) is a real beauty!  She is an adorable 12# longhaired chi mix. Bella is a very sweet girl who is a little nervous at times and can be a bit nippy until she trusts you. When she knows she's safe, she has an endless supply of affection for her people! Bella is both crate trained and potty trained and would be fine alone in her crate during a workday. She has a lot of love to give and will seek out pets from you when you sit on the couch and/or let her out of her crate in the morning. She loves to just sit quietly and look out the window or snooze in her bed, but is also excited to play with toys. This girl can zoom off the coach, grab a toy, and bolt back to you in 2.5 seconds flat!  Also does very well on a leash and has enjoyed walks around her foster's neighborhood. Bella is curious about the other dogs in the house but isn't the best at playing with them just yet due to her excitement. If you have a very tolerant dog, this may be a good match. Hi, I'm Camille! I come from royalty as my mom is a royal princess! I'm around 6 months old and came into rescue with my mom and 2 siblings when two wonderful families fed us until they could get us off the streets! I was the most shy of my siblings and still am hesitant so I would need a patient adopter that will let me come out of my shell at my own pace. I used to hide alot but now I come out and ask for pets from my foster mom and love when she snuggles me! Hi, I'm CeeCee! I'm a super sweet Beagle/Terrier mix. I am around 12 weeks old and will probably be a medium sized dog when I'm full grown. I love romping around the yard and playing with my foster siblings. My favorite things to play with are stuffed toys and I love chasing my tennis ball. I love cuddling, giving puppy kisses and laying in the sun. I do well in my crate, even though I'll wimper and cry when you first put me in, I stop after a couple of minutes. Hi everyone! My name is Chewie and I am thought to be a 12 week male hound/terrier mix that was brought to rescue with my siblings Cedric and CeeCee. I am about 13 pounds and love to eat! Due to my current size, my foster mom thinks I will be a medium to large pup (50 - 80 pounds), but that just means there is so much more of me to love! My foster mom says I am such a sweet heart and that I am a true hound dog.  I am doing great at my crate training, but will need to continue my crate training along with potty training. When I need to use the bathroom or am ready to come out of my crate to play, I give my foster mom my classic hound howl that tends to be in tune with my brother Cedric as well! I absolutely love other dogs and humans!! My favorite time of the day is the morning when my foster mom comes to get me out of my crate so I can smother her with love and cuddles! I love to play with my brother Cedric and sprint around the yard with my foster siblings. My foster mom also gave me some toys and they are an absolute blast! The chew toys and spike ball are my favorite :)  I have never met any cats or young children, but my foster mom thinks I would be great with either. This absolute sweetheart is Duncan, a one year old big boy who deserves ALL of the good things in life.  Duncan was abandoned for several days in January, left in a cat carrier in the cold until volunteers discovered him. Duncan is curious but very cautious and would do best in a quiet household that can give him the time he needs to settle in.  He does exceptionally well with young cats, especially kittens under one year old.  His hesitancy and caution can make him a target for older cats as they try to establish dominance. This sweet boy will quietly meow for attention and loves to be pet and brushed.  He loves to play with catnip toys and cat wands!   Duncan will need a safe space where he can go when feeling overwhelmed or simply wanting a quiet place to take a nap.  There is absolutely NO aggression in this quiet, friendly boy.  Duncan requires a patient loving family who is willing to give him the time he needs to feel safe and secure in his new home.   show less

Meet Enzo!  He is a cute and handsome ~5yr old mixed breed who is fixed, up to date on his shots, and looking for his forever home! He's working on gaining some weight and should be about ~30lb once at his ideal weight. Enzo is housetrained and partially crate trained. He doesn't like to be away from his people, so he vocalizes his displeasure for a while and then settles down. Therefore we are looking for an adopter that is home more often than not and is willing to keep working with him on crate training. Enzo would do fine as an only pet or in a multi-dog home; he currently gets along with his foster siblings but has the occassional scuffle with the dominant dog of the home. We have not noticed any issues with cats! Prior to coming to foster, Enzo also did fine with his kennel mates at a shelter. Given his loving temperament, Enzo would be a great buddy for kids. He has attended baseball games during the day and snuggled in bed at night! He is content to cuddle on the couch for hours at a time but also has a romping good time wrestling with one of his foster siblings or chewing a bone. He is an amazing dog with so much love and personality. Enzo would be forever grateful to join your home. show less

  Finn is an estimated 8 year old, 50 lb terrier mix.  Finn was found chained up in horrible conditions, sad and unloved.  His 'home' was a falling apart dog house and his 'freedom' was a five foot chain.  Upon entering foster, Finn didn't know how to receive human touch and he had never lived in a warm home before. What is beautiful is he now seeks attention from his foster and will do the cutest lean in when you get him in the right spots.  He's really loving the family home life with regular meal times and opportunities for pets!  He is most often seen laying on the ground near his favorite 'human'. He's a chill dog who loves to go for short walks.  He is low activity overall. Finn has a medical diagnosis, with Cushings Syndrome.  Symptoms include incredible thirst, unsatiable hunger, pott belly, significant hair loss, and heightened arousal.  He is currently on medication which is successfully reducing his symptoms.  He should have a full life with continued medicine treatment and monitoring. Finn went from no home skills to fully house trained, crate trained, and knows afew basic commands.   He is currently living with three other dogs in foster but can be unpredictable especially with male dogs that are unneutered or a dog that shows any sign of aggresion towards him.  He will also guard his food from other dogs but has no aggression to humans near his food.  Finn is not aggressive towards humans at all, however his foster did get nipped in the leg when breaking up a fight with him and another foster who growled at him. The bite was not intended for the foster mother, but it is important to know that for this reason Finn will need to be your one and only for his remaining years. Freddie (female) is part of a bonded pair with Mama (female). They were found living in a crate for 4 years in poor conditions.  When PAWS initially got them they were incredibly scared and stressed.  After several months of loving care these two cats have thrived. Freddie still relies on Mama to help her be brave.  For the first few months Freddie would hide behind Mama in the cave of a cat tree.  But now Freddie will jump down to join Mama when a volunteer comes to visit.  She loves to play with the laser light and loves her cat treats!  Freddie is still building trust.  She desperately wants to be pet and will flop on the floor near you but is still jumpy.  She will need a lot of patience as she adapts to her new home!  Please help give these girls the life they deserve! show less

Hi. I'm Mr. Garfield. I'm estimated to be around 5 years old. I am a friendly, affectionate medium-haired orange tabby ready for my forever home. I was found as a stray, malnourished and with an upper respiratory infection. I'm gaining weight, growing back my hair and just so grateful to be indoors where it is safe. I love to be around people and will meow for attention and scratches. Hi, I'm Jessie James and my mom was a very beautiful poodle and my dad was thought to be a Rottweiler. We don't know about my dad for sure, but nonetheless I am still a very sweet and charming boy! I am about 6 months old now with my birthday being April 9th of this year. I'm about 25 pounds now so my foster mom thinks I will be a medium to large sized dog, but that just means there is more to love! I also have a fluffy coat that will require brushing/grooming so that I can stay a handsome fellow and keep my shedding in check!     I seem to get a bit car sick when traveling, but I am an excellent boy in my crate! Kira is a spunky, gorgeous 11 month old Siberian husky mix who was taken in by animal control after being found wandering around. She was so super skinny, you could feel her ribs and spine, and see her hip bones. She is still underweight, at only 32 lbs., but is starting to slowly put on some weight. Despite this rough start in life, Kira is a happy, sweet and loving little girl who only wants someone to love and play with her. Like a typical husky, she will talk to you, and let you know if she requires some attention. She prefers to be wherever her people are, but also does well in a crate and overnight. She is housetrained, and leaves your shoes alone. She is high energy, and needs an active adopter to give her the exercise she requires. Zoomies are real (and hilarious)! Like to hike?
