Lola is still waiting. This unique beauty is only 40 pounds. She loves going to doggy daycare, is housetrained and well behaved at home. She can be a little sassy on leash and can get nervous when meeting new people so she needs an experienced human that will help guide her through these situations. show less

Bizkit is a perfect boy with a beautiful smile. He’s been with us a while and, his fosters were thinking of keeping him. But due to a drastic change in their schedules, they decided that he would do better in another home that has more time to spare. He is a 50 lbs two year old pitbull mix who we rescued from the shelter with a badly broken leg. His leg has been expertly repaired and he’s good as new. He is housetrained I’m good with both big and little dogs. He’s playful and very loving and deserves a forever home to call his own.  show less

We can't believe he's still here! Mickey is a 1 year old husky, great with other dogs, poeple and kids. Mickey has a great flexible energy, perfect for going on a nice walk and coming home for a nap! He is house trained, crate trained and non destrucive in the home.  show less

Romeo, sweet Romeo has been waiting way too long for a forever home to call his own. This laid-back, middle-aged guy was rescued from the shelter after he was put on a red list. He’s been been waiting and waiting for someone to notice him and falls in love. We’re hoping that someone sees this post today and realizes it’s time to give this good boy a home. Romeo is a perfect house mate: calm and not destructive, housetrained quiet. Romeo will wait for you to take him on a nice walks around the neighborhood. Romeo does well with small dogs (along is with a proper introduction). He is a little intimidated by larger dogs. We’re hoping someone out there sees this post and grants this handsome guy his only wish: a forever home. Romeo is in good health, fully vetted and is approximately 8 years old. He loves to be around people and will say hi to everyone he meets including kids! When it comes to making doggie friends, Romeo likes to take things slow before becoming besties but once he has a proper intro, he loves hanging with his doggie friends. He is currently in a foster home with 2 small females and a 1 year old male Shepherd/Malinois mix. If you’re looking for a companion or family dog who is calm and sweet, that’s Romeo! Sonoma is a deaf 7 month old puppy who is good with both big and little dogs, she's nearly housetrained  and walks beautifully on a leash and we are working on her crate training. We would love to find someone that has experience with deaf dogs to either foster or adopt her. Training a deaf dog can be very rewarding because they look to you for direction, making the bond between a dear dog and their owner very strong. We're hoping the right person steps up to give this girl the home she so deserves.  show less

Jackie has been with us a long while and is way overdue for a forever home of her own.  This is gorgeous, highly intelligent and sensitive dog has been spending some quality time with Darian to work on the nervousness she feels when meeting new people. I’m sure anyone with some social anxiety can relate (new people can be scary!). It’s not a big deal, and it shouldn’t be a dealbreaker. It just requires the right person to help her feel safe and comfortable when meeting people. Darian came up with a greeting protocol for her which has been very helpful. So, when meeting Jackie for the first time, you offer her a treat, ask her to sit and down, and then take her for a quick walk to the corner and back. That’s pretty much all it takes to get this girl to know that you’re A-OK. Once Jackie gets to know you she’s truly the sweetest most loving dog. And - she is excellent with other dogs both large and small. She has been a foster here with me and @saschasudikova and done well in both homes. She is a three year old, heeler mix who is housetrained and crate trained. She loves going for hikes and lounging by your feet. Her perfect home would have someone that’s familiar with the breed and is open to working with a shy dog. She would also have another balanced dog to romp and play with. She is easy-going and has medium energy is so a nice long walk in the morning or a gentle hike would be great and if he walks in the neighborhood during the day. A quieter home with no kids under 13 would probably be best. She was rescued from death row at the 11th hour (literally). We really ❤️ this girl and can’t wait to see her in the perfect home. She truly deserves it.  show less

Meet Chase!  Such an easy dog in so many ways. We wish people would see past his “stranger danger” issues and give him a chance. He’s a six-year-old boy who does great with all dogs from 5 pounds to 85 pounds. He is house trained, walks well on leash and is not destructive in the home.  Chase: I know I may be a little weird, I know I may be nervous around new people, and I know someone’s gonna need some patience getting to know me. But, once they do they’ll see I am a great guy. I’m good with all dogs, I have zero anxiety, I love sleeping in my crate, I love going for walks, I love just laying around the house. I don’t destroy anything, I have no bad habits. I’m just a good guy who is a little weird. I’m hoping that my person sees this post and opens their heart to a dog that may not be perfect but is pretty damn close. show less
