Meet Isa! Isa is a beautiful 3  year old torti with colors of black, tan, and cream. She was named after Dora the Explorer's lizard, Isa and was surrendered by her owners last year when she became pregnant and they could no longer afford to keep her. She was the mom of kittens Paisley, Paris, Jet, Grady, and Grant. Isa has a very quirky personality. She always wants to be near you; she always wants to eat what you're eating; and always wants to be doing what you're doing, and will sleep on your lap while you are watching tv.. LOL. She is just.that.way. She needs to be in the middle of everything. She is a lovebug (though not a cuddler), and will curl up on your lap while you're watching TV and go to sleep. Her personality lends itself to a loyal companion. She is very affectionate and loves attention, literally **racing** to meet you at the door and "talking" to you. She will follow you around the room, and when you go inside a room and close the door, if she can't quickly squeeze through the door, she will meow to you as if to say, "Hey! Are you coming out soon? I miss you," put her paws under the door and meow every now and then so you don't forget she is out there. (As if!!) She will definitely keep you laughing. Isa gets along with other cats, but will hiss to put them in their place, if needed. Isa's purrfect home is a quiet, low activity home with teenage children or no children at all, as at times (1x in over a year) she has been known to nip gently. Isa is spayed, up to date on rabies and distemper vaccines, tested negative for FIV, feline leukema, and heartworm, and microchipped with a lifetime registration. Please contact us to meet Isa at GoodMews22@aol.com.  show less

Meet Levi! Levi is the brother of Curly Sue, Forrester, Colton (adopted), and Cody (adopted). These babies came with their mom from a kill shelter where mom was slated for euthanasia. Mom, Chloe Jo, gave birth at the shelter and a week later, the entire family of Chloe Jo's mini-mes  - all gray tabbies, like mama - came to us. Levi, by far, is the most energetic and craziest of the kittens. If you are a minute late to feed them, he will let you know by mewing very loudly and running frantically from side to side. Of course, his siblings soon follow this behavior and it looks like a mob of girls waiting to see a rock band, with all kittens running frantically from side to side, climbing over each other, and squeeling loudly. (Mind you, they are fed canned food 2x a day and have full self-feeders and waters!) When you open the door, the phrase, "Release the Krakens!" comes to mind, as Levi runs like crazy out the door and leads his siblings into a frenzy of running. They look like little ants, all running as fast as they can in different directions, lest they be caught and snuggled. They are quite funny and excitable, that's for sure. They are also loving little cuddlers and love to be held and pet. Levi is quite bonded to his brother, Forrester and they should be adopted together. These siblings are neutered/spayed. received 2 FVRCP vaccines, a rabies vaccine (if 4 months old at time of adoption), tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia, and are microchipped with a lifetime registration.. You won't need to pay $20+ every year to reregister them. If you are interested in these little excitable kittens, please email us at GoodMews22@aol.com. show less

Meet Stripe Magee and you won't forget him! Stripe is a DSH male, black and white masked tuxedo, with a white stripe down his forehead, just over a year old. He was born in foster care on April 5th, 2018 when their mom, Valerie was transported to us from a high kill shelter. He is the only cat in his litter still here. His siblings and mom were adopted long ago. Stripe is a loving, affectionate explorer, and investigator. He likes to think of himself as somewhat of a James Bond - danger and intrigue are his game and he is often getting into things he shouldn't - all in the name of exploring. He is a quirky little guy in that he doesn't seem to understand a cat's personal space. He will bound right up to a cat and be face to face, like "HHHHHELLO!!" You can often tell where he is just by the hissing. LOL He gets along great with other cats, though. Stripe is like the Energizer Bunny - always moving, always exploring. He is into everything and follows you everywhere.  He will follow you everywhere - in and out of rooms, upstairs and downstairs. He is the new ambassador to the house. He needs to know everything! Have a plumber come in? Stripes knows all about it and will watch him as he peers under the sink. He will sit diligently beside him until he is sure the problem is fixed, and then will show him to the door and meow goodbye. Stripes gets along with everyone (his best friend is Bentley - a fellow investigator) but, like Bentley, he always seems to be in the midst of the trouble. You hear everyone meowing? Bentley & Stripes are in the middle of it and will come tearing around the corner and will stop suddenly when they see you ....with the sweetest look of innocence. Yeah, right. Bentley and Stripes are bonded and must be adopted together. There is a discount for adopting both. Stripe's purrfect home would be an indoor only home with Bentley, with cat-friendly children over the age of 7 or 8 years old or no children at all. He would love to have a cat playmate, like Bentley. He must be an indoor only cat. He is neutered, dewormed, had 2 distemper vaccines, a rabies vaccine, tested negative for FIV, feline leukemia, and heartworm, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. You can adopt Stripe Magee & Bentley  by going to our website at ForgottenFelinesCulpeper.org, , filling out an application, and email it  to GoodMews22@aol.com. show less
