This girl is so so sweet and thrives on  attention from her humans. She has a super cool personality that makes you fall in love with her easily! She’s house broke, crate trained, and walks well on a leash. Car rides are a must in her world! She hates the dog park, doesn’t want to have dog play dates, and doesn’t want attention from other people while she is out and about. She knows commands and will follow them when told. She has a lot of energy and needs to be able to get plenty of daily exercise. Along with plenty of physical exercise she requires mental stimulation also. She is willing to work for her food and treats. Once her exercise and stimulation requirements have been met she will lay on the floor and nap or watch tv calmly with the family. A calm environment would be most beneficial for her. Chew toys such as nylabone or benebone and chuck-it balls are her favorite! She does best with constant access to a wide variety of both. She loves to dig in the yard and chase bugs and bees and play fetch! It is required that she is the ONLY animal in the home. You must have a secure fenced in yard, and no young children. She does fine with older teens that are able to establish alpha and hold that position. Knowing the breed and having breed experience is a must. show less

Ash is a very loving boy! He does have a list of medical problems and will need to be strictly, medically managed throughout his life. The most important is a liver shunt. As we have been told, his is inoperable. Therefore, he will need to remain on a special prescription diet and medications throughout his life. Veering off his strict diet will cause toxins to build up in his body. Due to the liver shut and other medical issues he has a hard time controlling his bowel and bladder. Ash has medical related behaviors. When the protein levels in his body are to high he can become aggressive. This is usually towards other animals but he is also grouchy with humans during this time. As his liver shunt worsens, it is possible his behaviors will increase. Sleep is also a bit of a challenge for him. He takes frequent naps but doesn't sleep for long periods of time or make it through the night. Ash is a great boy with lots of energy, loves life and being with his human.  show less

Bongo was returned to rescue by his first adopter because she was a first time adult pet owner and as he grew, he became more than she could handle. This boy is very smart and will push boundaries if allowed. In rescue he is doing well with other dogs and is a very fun loving boy. He absolutel is passionate about his toys, he loves to fetch, but you will need two or three toys to throw, because while he loves the running to get them part...he is a tease about giving them back. He is crate trained and house trained. While he hasn't shown aggression towards cats, he is overly interested in them and we wouldn't recommend him for a family with cats. Clyde is a year old and he is a very prescious, very frightened baby. He came from a neglectful home where he wasn't socialized or pet and he doesn't know yet that humans can be trusted. With all that said, he is absolutely not a fear biter, he has some leash skills and will allow you to handle him. While he is fearful he does seem to want to take that leap of trust. He will dance in front of you but just out of the way of letting you touch him. Quinn is super sweet but very skittish. He needs time to learn to trust. He is NOT good with small animals or kids. He may do ok with a larger non dominant dog but that will just depend on how he feels about them. He is housebroke, crate trained, and answers to his name. He will need a lot of on going socialization. Along with his socialization needs, Quinn has some undiagnosed health issues. It is thought to be a form of myopathy at this time. Unfortunately, there isn't a one and done test that will give a true diagnosis.
