Paisley is a stunning calico ready for her forever home. We rescued this sweet girl from a crowded rural shelter. She was shy but wanted love so badly Once she was in a foster home she gradually came out of her shell and is now running all over the house, playing with the other cats and just embracing life. Paisley has come such a long way and is learning how wonderful a loving home life can be. She enjoys toys of all kinds, especially the laster light and tunnels. She also enjoys watching TV. She will let you pick her up to get her into a crate and we are working on lap sitting. She definitely wants to be with people and will let you pet her beautiful coat. She's food motivated so treats will go a long way to gain trust. It will take a person who has patience--who is willing to allow Paisley a few weeks to adjust--to win this girl's affection. But the payoff will be so worth it. We estimate Paisley to be under two years. She still has lots of energy but will take long afternoon naps. Paisley would do great in a home with other cats who will not take advantage of her shyness. A home with older children who can understand she will need time to adjust will also work, but she would not do well around small children or in a louder enviornment. She has been spayed, tested negative for FIV and Feline Leukemia, microchipped and is up to date on all vaccinations. Ra is a sweet and loving 11 month old tuxedo boy. He is very independent and has been since the day I got him. His parents must have been small because I think he is going to be a petite. He loves to play with his toys but if you play with him with a laser pointer he will love you forever. He never seems to run out of energy. He loves to snuggle and take naps with you. He likes to have a paw on you while he sleeps. And the closer he is to you under your chin, the happier he is. Like most cats, he likes to be up high so he can see what is happening around him. For that reason, he really likes his cat tree / scratching post. He also likes to lounge in window sills and do some bird watching. He eats dry and wet food and enjoys them both. With this little man you really have to watch his water bowl. He gets kicks out of playing in it which means the water generally ends up everywhere but in the bowl 😳. He has excellent litter box manners. He has been neutered and microchipped. He is negative for FIV and FeLV. He is up to date on all age appropriate shots. Ra has not been around dogs so I cannot say how he would do. He will do better in a home with older children that understand cats don’t like to be chased. Or he would be fine with just adults. If you think Ra would be a good fit for your family contact me and we can arrange for you to meet him at his home. He gets stressed out at adoption events so he doesn’t go to them.
