Babe came to PWP because her owner was unable to care for her anymore. It was a hard decision to make, but hopefully Babe won't have to wait long to find the better life everyone wants for her. Babe is a sweet girl that doesn't appear to make too much noise. She is working on housebreaking and leash walking. She is approximately 3 years old. Update: Babe is really enjoying leash walking and is mostly housebroken! She was adopted for one day and returned because she was so nervous in her new home. We are recommending a home without children and with adults that are committed to making her feel comfortable. Babe has met a few polite dogs and appears to like the company, but would also be happy as an only pet. She appears to ignore the cats at the shelter. She loves to lie upside down in the grass and have her belly rubbed in the sunshine!    Why don't I have an attached application? I'm currently being treated for ringworm. It is a skin fungus that can be contagious to people and pets. My recovery date is not yet known, but I am getting better every day! If you are interested in being notified when I am availabe, please sumbit an adoption application via Pets Without Parents' website under the Adoption Process section. There, you can also donate to help cover the cost of my care.  Adoption fee: $160 includes her spay, initial vaccines and deworming, and testing for heartworm.  If interested, please submit an adoption application online via our website, www.petswithoutparents.net. Once the application has been processed, we will contact you to arrange a visit. We are happy to help you meet "the one" all 7 days of the week! Bert and Ernie were rescued from a hoarding situation. Bert lived outdoors in a dirty pen with lots of other dogs. Bert isn't used to human attention, indoors, going for walks, or playing with toys. Everything is new and scarey for Bert. He is slowly learning new skills. He is learning how to get into his crate when he is scared, to play with tennis balls, walk on a leash, and that scrtiches feel kind of nice!  Why don't I have an attached application? I am learning how to be a dog! It may take a while because I have a lot to learn, but I'm making progress every day! My new home will be willing to put in a lot of effort to help me overcome my past. I will always be a nervous boy that does best with predictability and positve reinforcement. I'm looking for a home without children. If you are interested in providing a safe home for me, you can submit an adoption application via Pets Without Parents' website under the adoption process section.  Adoption fee: $160 includes his neuter, initial vaccines and deworming, and testing for heartworm.  If interested, please submit an adoption application online via our website, www.petswithoutparents.net.  We are happy to help you meet "the one" all 7 days of the week! Hershey was an outoor dog before coming to PWP with 7 little pups. Hershey is learning how to be part of a people family! She is so excited to get the attention she was craving that she can be a little much when you first meet her. She is learning that people want to spend more time with her when she doesn't jump or grab clothing in her mouth. She is learning quickly and is becoming fun to take for walks. Hershey has an exuberant and bubbly personality. She loves to play and can barely control her excitement about all the new things she gets see in her new life. This goofy girl is about 65 pounds of wiggles and a young adult.  Why don't I have an attached adoption application? When I arrived at PWP I was missing most of the hair on my back. I am being treated for ringworm and working hard to recover and grow my hair! I'm much less itchy and feeling better. You are welcome to submit an adoption application, but my release date is unkown at this time.  Adoption fee: $160 includes her spay, initial vaccines and deworming, and testing for heartworm.  If interested, please submit an adoption application online via our website, www.petswithoutparents.net or at the shelter between 12 noon and 8 pm. My name is Navy! I'm a shelter Super Star! I help all the new dogs learn how to play with other doggos! I love all the new friends because I have lots of energy. I like to run really fast, jump really high, and stay busy busy busy. I slow down for snuggles with staff, though. Navy is a tall 30 pounds and estimated to be a terrier mix.  Why don't I have an attached application? I am a goofy gentleman at the shelter, but I have a really hard time transitioning into a new home. I'm learning some new words and skills that may help. I'm looking for a home that is ready to put in some initial homework so that I can adjust. If you are interested in rescuing me, you can still submit an adoption application via Pets Without Parents' website, under the adoption process section. My home will need to be a stand alone home without children or cats. My new family will need to be able to make several visits to the shelter to increase my comfort before the leap to my new home.  Adoption fee: $160 includes his neuter, initial vaccines and deworming, and testing for heartworm.  If interested, please submit an adoption application online via our website, www.petswithoutparents.net or at the shelter between 12 noon and 8 pm.
