Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VT Good with dogs: Yes Good with cats: Unknown Good with kids: Unknown, likely yes Crate trained: Mostly House trained: Working on it Alicia is a very loving girl who just wants to be treated like the baby she is. At 50 pounds and still growing, Alicia is going to be a pretty big baby, and just like any other baby she can find mischief very quickly if left unsupervised. Fortunately, the only things she loves more than finding (or making her own) toys are giving hugs and kisses, and getting praise for doing a good job. Alicia would love a home where she isn't alone very much and gets plenty of attention and training, with lots of play time and trips outside. So far, she only knows "Sit", but she beams with pride every time she gets it right. Alicia is extremely good-natured, even with grumpy dogs. She just wants to play and give kisses, and will lay down when another dog gives her a correction and personal space is still a work in progress. She has been around cats once, and showed no signs of aggression but was very interested in trying to play with them, so she might be okay with dog savvy cats. Alicia loves all people and would likely love all kids, but she can be excessive with her hugs and kisses, has some difficulty controlling her excitement, and can be pretty clumsy. Older kids would likely be better. Alicia only goes into her crate willingly for breakfast and dinner. She doesn't like being separated from everyone, but after a few minutes of protest, she settles down. Having toys with her helps. She only has accidents in her crate if she's crated for long periods. She has not yet learned how to alert when she needs to go outside, so she should be kept on a regular schedule. Alicia is still learning to walk on-leash. She loves trying to chase after squirrels, birds, and cars and could probably jump a fence if motivated. She has a lot of love to give and is more than ready for her furever family!
