This Toby...aka Mr Tobster. Toby was found with his brother Chip in southwest broward county emaciated and almost starved to death.   Toby got neutered and a complete medical work up and got a clean bill of health with a healthy weight of 69 lbs on him.  Toby is great with other dogs...big or small. Great with cats and children.  He is very gentle and will do fine in any environment as long as he gets some exercise.  He loves to hang out with his human and doggie friends. Is crate trained and will let you know when he has to go potty. Can be left alone for several hrs in his crate. He loves his blanket or doggie bed. Toby would love to find his own human...although we love him very much...we were just a stepping stone for him to get better and find his full potential. Tristan the Tripod was found in San Antonio, TX. He sustained multiple injuries from what looks to be from and motor vehicle and was left on the side of the road to die. This sweet boy was picked up by ACS and injuries so severe, he needed an amputation. He is a few days post op and learning to walk on his feet again. He is a gentle 1 yo Dutch Shepherd and just weighing in about 40 lbs so far. The shelter employees were quite attached and thrilled when MAD was able to step in give him a chance to live and be loved! 🦖 𝑾𝒆 𝒏𝒆𝒆𝒅 𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒆𝒆𝒕𝒉 🦖 Welcome to Jurassic Park … oops, let’s try this again…  Introducing MAD’s newest little velociraptor, Velo located in GA. This baby raptor is every bit of a mal puppy! He may not have the biggest teeth, but he’s quite the chompy little nugget. Velo is 13 weeks old, 19 lbs, current on his vaccines, and is already available for adoption.  Velo is a happy and playful boy. He loves to play! Tug? He’s a champion tugger! Ball? Balls are so much fun! Plushies? Those are great too! This little velociraptor also loves to eat and is treat motivated. He seems to already know sit, and may possibly already be housebroken. Veronica was found abandoned in an area in Miami FL called the Redlands.  Sadly it is a known spot for dogs where 1000s of dogs are dumped annually.  Veronica was trapped and saved by some wonderful local rescuers.  She did require surgury on her foot and has made her recovery challenging since she doesn't like her cone.  Veronica is a sweet, less than a year old spayed female in Central Florida and needs a forever home. This super sweet girl loves cuddles and has been wonderful with children 6+ years old and enjoys when they read to her. She is timid indoors and around new people. But when she warms up to people, she is playful and amazing.  Her personality blossoms when she's outdoors. She runs fast, hard and does maligator dives and rolls in the grass. She forgets all about being timid and enjoys toys and playing with humans outside. Unfortunately loud noises will spook her and she will try to run away, so a fenced yard wish leash would be best until she builds more confidence.  Veronica has a serious sniffer. She loves snuffle mats and sniffing in the grass. She would probably excel at nose work. She is brilliant and hasn't found a mind game toy that she couldn't master within a short time.  Veronica has shown no prey drive, and lives with small critters to include birds. She has also lived with puppies with no issues. Unfortunately, she is scared of her large foster brother and large dogs in the neighborhood. She would love a home without dogs larger than her. She has not been tested with cats, but isn't interested in birds, rabbits or turtles. We have been focused working on Veronica's confidence building and she has now started obedience training. She is crated at night and is housebroken. She does okay on a leash. She loves walks, so she just needs training for better leash manners. Veronica is very smart and focused, and will need someone to train her in a positive way.  She loves people but is shy at first. She really just wants to be loved. With her smaller size, low prey drive and medium energy, she would be a great family dog.
