Sassi is the sweetest velcro puppy ever!! She's pretty much a unicorn! She's about 10 months old, loves people and dogs. She follows her human everywhere, over gates and through cat doors. She likes being close to her person and would love someone to either be home with her or take her with them. However, she can be fine on her own just doesn't like the crate much.  She was a stray so she comes with no training but already knows Sitz, Platz [doesn't like that one much], Crate, Eyes, auto sits when in a sort of heel [working on this]. She's learning to wait at doors and walking nicely on leash. She's learning that the crate isn't a bad place. She is very food motivated. She loves playing tup with her human or foster sister.  She's really good at off leash hiking [when there aren't distractions] and just loves to be close to her pack. She loves water and you should see her joy dashing through every puddle she can find. She is doing great at Barn Hunt and might excell at anything where she can use her sniffer.  She would do best in a home with another dog who loves playing, where peopel are around to give her love but also show her the ropes with training, boundaries and consistency.  She's a real love bug with a pinch of spice and mischief.    We are an official 501C3 organization that does not have a physical location. Meet Scout!    Scout is a very special Belgian Malinois puppy born at the end of April. He is currently being fostered in Tampa Bay, FL. Scout is a handsome 6-month-old Malinois seeking a forever home! Currently fostered in a home with dogs and young kids, Scout's foster family shares he's the perfect house guest! Scout arrived at MAD rescue with neurological symptoms he was born with, which included difficulty walking and some visual deficits; however, after proper nutrition and physical therapy with his foster family, Scout can not only walk, but run, play, and bounce around like any typical puppy! Scout is housetrained (he'll even let you know when he has to go potty!), quiet/non-destructive when left alone, and sleeps through the night - what a good puppy! Like any Malinois, Scout does best when mentally and physically stimulated. He enjoys long walks with his foster family, playing with other dogs (he makes new friends easily), playing with toys, and participating in regular obedience training. Are you looking for an affectionate Mal puppy to play with, train, and then snuggle? Scout is the perfect dog for you! Scrappy is an about 1-year-old female Mal - she's 100% Mal actually! She has a beautiful red coat with light Mal-wings. She’s had a rough life so far but enjoying her time at her foster's home, giving her foster brother a run for his money! She’s super sweet and just wants affection.  She's food motivated and likes toys. She is pretty intense with other dogs but gets along fine as long as the other is tolerant of her crazy puppy energy. She will need someone very patient and experienced to help her thrive and gain confidence! She loves water and always tries to find a body of water to jump into! She will need a job, so she would do best with someone who is active and can put her to work with nose work or dock diving etc! She does much better with women! Meet Sheeba!  Sheeba is located in South Florida. An awesome, smart, loving Dutch Shepherd. She can be a little shy and timid at first but warms up very quickly to people. She gets along great with all the dogs she’s met (is currently living with fosters 3 dogs and another foster). She is playful, energetic, eager to learn and loves attention. She hasn't been tested with cats. She is learning basic commands, sit, stay and down. She walks nicely on leash, non reactive to other dogs or people and she has no signs of resource guarding. With some exercise in the morning, she has an off switch. She isn’t a very high drive Dutch, perhaps not a candidate for competitive dog sports but a great family dog for an active family. She hasn't been tested with young children, but foster doesn't see an issue with it with the exception of being a little mouthy. She is very food motivated, moderately toy motivated, low prey drive (she’ll basically ignore squirrels while her foster sister is losing her mind!). Loves to settle down in her humans lap after play. She kennels on command, spends the night in the crate without a peep but ready to go when the house begins to stir in the morning. Her foster works from home and she hasn't been a problem during zoom calls! If she becomes too rambunctious she can be placed in her crate and quickly settles down for some down times. The foster is still working with her on potty training. She can be mischievous if not watched, she will keep her adopter on their toes. She apparently loves everything bagels, in a moment of inattention by her foster she somehow got up on the counter, grabbed a bag of them and seems to have shared them with her foster sister. Like most puppies her age she can be a little annoying to her foster siblings, not getting the hint they don’t want to play anymore. She has been an absolute pleasure in the fosters home. She will make the perfect dog for the right adopter If you are interested in adopting Sheeba, or any of our available dogs, please complete an application and begin the screening process!!!  Once your application has gone through our Application team, you will be contacted for a Home Visit.  This must be done before your appliction can be fully processed and then if approved and deemed as a match, you will be conneted to the foster to learn more info about Sheeba. For their safety and your peace of mind; MAD incudes a martingale collar, tag and an activated Fi tracking collar with all rescues. The Fi tracking collar will remain activated for one year after which it becomes the obligation of the approved adopter to continue service. Whoa! Here comes Stryker! Still in his silly, sweet puppy stage Stryker is a handsome (approximately) 2 year old Belgian Malinois male. A good Samaritan traveling to FL found him wandering an interstate with no collar, and no tags. After Stryker jumped in his car the driver called MAD Rescue from the road! MAD volunteers immediately took him to a vet and scanned - No Chip either. He is neutred and UTD on all shots, and has completed his HW treatment. He is a typical Malinois wants to play, run, please his human and gladly sits for treats. Stryker's fosters reports while he is a joy; they are working on obedience and manners but he will need a new home that is willing to put in the work and have patience to continue to train him. Stryker does great in public and is non reactive to loud noises and loves meeting new people. He is both treat and toy motivated and is very handler focused. He's got a great nose and the foster thinks he'd really enjoy dog sports like Nose Work and Barn Hunt.  For their safety and your peace of mind; MAD incudes a martingale collar, tag and an activated Fi tracking collar with all rescues. Hey Texas/Louisiana/Surrounding Area Folks, Please meet 'Waffles'! Waffles is a 1.5year old Belgian Malinois who was adopted from San Antonio ACS, but returned due to not being a fit for the family. He's your typical Malinois-active, smart, a bit mouthy, but very eager to please. He does have prey drive, so no small children or pets (that you're fond of) please. He does OK with other dogs, as long as there's a proper introduction and he has some space to decide if he likes the other dog. We need a foster for this sweet boy ASAP!
