Luna was born 4/24/21 looking for a home to help give her a solid foundation and lots of great adventures. She is very sweet and mellow.  She is much smaller than most of her littermates so might be a very petite little Mal.     Luna is considered special needs and would be best with a family were somoene is home most of the time. There is no clear diagnosis but it appears she and 2 of her other littermates got an infection when mom was preganant and they have some development issues.  She has some mobility issues and wobbles a bit when she runs. Initially had trouble going up and down stairs, but likely woudl be best in a single story home withough a ton of stairs to the yard. Her condition doesn't seem to be progressive and her mobility has improved some as she's gotten older and stonger.  She does also seem to have some visual impairment but he hearing has improved and she's still got a great sense of smell. Major is the sweetest 5-months-old puppy who was found with an embedded collar and a broken leg. The leg has already healed by itself - a bit crooked but he's getting on just fine. The neck wound is healing well. We also found out he had a broken toe on his hind leg. Poor pup BUT he's recovering nicely and he's just the sweetest puppy even though he's been in much pain and had so much to endure. He's happy to be around people and dogs! Meet Mali!  She is a sweet, smart, alert 9 month old puppy; a velcro Mal, gets along great with the foster's 3 dogs - 2 females and one neutered male. She just wants to please and hop in your lap on the couch or settle down on the floor wherever her human is. She's a little timid and shy at first; she takes a little bit to warm up to new people. She was picked up as a stray in Palm Beach County and spent a week at the city shelter where she was doing poorly due to her sensitive nature. She is eager to learn; knows sit and down within a day or two in the foster home. Initially she showed leash reactivity but the foster has seen quick improvement in just a few days. She has an off switch but is ready to play when it's time. She is potty trained and crate trained. Spends the night in the crate without a peep until morning. She has some ball drive and loves to eat! which is great since she came from the shelter extremely malnourished. Foster doesn't see any issue with getting her up to her proper weight. Maverick is a handsome young Malinois who knows all his basic commands and walks well on a leash. He is a praise driven, low drive, medium energy Mal. He is happy running around the yard or lounging on the couch with a chew toy. He loves to chase bugs and squirrels and rough house with his foster brother (a dutch shepherd). He does well with other less dominant dogs.   According to Maverick’s foster: “He may take a few days to warm up to a new owner, but once he accepts you, there is no sweeter Mal out there!! Be warned, he may demand pets and want to be your lap dog, despite his 55 pounds.”   Maverick needs a home with one or two people who are experienced and confident with Malinois. He prefers a quiet home without a lot of foot traffic, as Maverick needs some time to settle into a new environment and bond with his people. A home with a 6 foot fence is preferable. He needs an adopter who doesn’t overwhelm him and understands that he sometimes just needs his own space to relax.  He is very responsive and would make a great companion dog   If you are interested in fostering / adopting Maverick, or any of our available dogs, please complete an application and begin the screening process!!!   Applications that are completed in our process and being considered as a match will speak to the foster home to gain more information about him. MAD Rescue tried to save the leg through surgery, however, the surgery was unsuccessful and the leg had to be amputated at a later time. Mazikeen needs an adopter who can help her through recovery or a medical foster. She is in dire need of a place to recover. We found a boarding facility so that she could at least come out of the vet office before memorial day holiday. If you can help out please reach out to us at info@madrescueinc.org.  Mazzy is a sweet girl as reported by the vet. She gets along well with people. Moxie is a sweet 6-year-young female Malinois with spunk. She loves food, tug, frisbee and chasing the ball. She's got energy for days and maybe you'd like to take her out for a run? She has puppy energy in an adult body! She's been learning a great deal at her foster home: She has completed obedience training and learned quickly. She loves to learn! She is doing great with her basic commands and is getting better on leash - gentle leader is doing the trick.  She has perfect house manners - crate trained, house trained and is trusted to roam the home.  She is not good with small children.  She's doing well with other large, adult dogs with proper and slow introductions. Her trainer said she'd do best with another dog in the home... she's just a bit socially awkward 😆  She hates city life, it's just too overwhelming for her so she would prefer a home with a nice yard somewhere quiet.  Moxie will need an experienced handler dedicated to continue the good work! I'm Nacho.  I'm about 4 years old and have been told I'm an incredibly sweet and loving boy.   Boy, do I love attention and I really like to bond with my person! Looking for a dog you can cuddle - that's me! I love to play fetch and have been learning to play 'find the treat' for indoor fun.  I  know sit, down, and mostly stay.   I know how to shake hands and I've learned to 'stand' and allow you to towel dry me all fluffy after a walk in the rain.  I will let you dry each paw and give me a good brushing too.   I do have some anxiety issues. I don't know why, but I would benefit from someone who wants to help me feel safe and loved. Riding in the car is great fun, but I get antsy and will bark at other vehicles on the road if I can see them. I think someone who drives while someone else is in the car feeding me my breakfast or dinner every night, would help me associate positive things with being in a car.  And, in case you were wondering, fireworks and huge thunderstorms are not my friends. The Thunderjacket has helped me though.  I will require a fenced in yard (five foot or higher would be best) or to always be on a leash because I love adventures. Toys are my thing and I think I'd do well in dog sports.  I have a heart of gold and just need direction.  I'm told my prey drive is high, so I shouldn't try to live with kitty kitties.  As far as canine siblings, I think life would be best with a family all on my own. I am happy to share my toys, but I can get edgy if I have a bone or dinner and another dog comes snooping around. I am not a fan of dog parks either, because all those dogs rushing at me makes me anxious and I get snappy. I have been around children but since I'm still learning about what is mine and what is not, a home with older children would be more appropriate.   If you are the type of person that wants to make a difference in a dog's life and who feels a sense of accomplishment by seeing the change in a dog that you help facilitate, I am that opportunity. I just need a stable home, and someone who will work on making me feel safe by showing me my boundaries and helping me associate positive things with the things that cause me anxiety. I'd love you in return and be forever grateful! ***** If you are interested in adopting this dog, please complete an application at this link https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/24689/generic . ****** We are an official 501C3 organziation that does not have a physical location. Nikita somehow found herself in an animal shelter. She was friendly and in the adoption wing until she developed a slight cough and was moved off the adoption floor and was at risk of euthanasia and could only be saved by a rescue.  She was down to her last day, but many people offered to help on her behalf and MAD Rescue was able to pull her and get her into a foster home. Her foster family says she is sweetheart and can't imagine how she found her way into a shelter.  She jumped right in the car like she's done it before.  Nikita has settled well into her foster home with other dogs (small and large) and a cat.  Careful interactions are monitored but she's doing well with her foster siblings.   Estimated to be around 2 years old, she is spayed, heartworm tested (negative) and fully vaccinated. She likes being close to her person and would love someone to either be home with her or take her with them. However, she can be fine on her own just doesn't like the crate much.  She was a stray so she comes with no training but already knows Sitz, Platz [doesn't like that one much], Crate, Eyes, auto sits when in a sort of heel [working on this]. She's learning to wait at doors and walking nicely on leash. She's learning that the crate isn't a bad place. She is very food motivated. She loves playing tup with her human or foster sister.  She's really good at off leash hiking [when there aren't distractions] and just loves to be close to her pack. She loves water and you should see her joy dashing through every puddle she can find. She is doing great at Barn Hunt and might excell at anything where she can use her sniffer.  She would do best in a home with another dog who loves playing, where peopel are around to give her love but also show her the ropes with training, boundaries and consistency.  She's a real love bug with a pinch of spice and mischief.    We are an official 501C3 organization that does not have a physical location. Meet Scout!    Scout is a very special Belgian Malinois puppy born at the end of April. He is currently being fostered in Palm Bay, FL. Scout is a handsome 7-month-old Malinois seeking a forever home! Currently fostered in a home with dogs and young kids, Scout's foster family shares he's the perfect house guest! Scout arrived at MAD rescue with neurological symptoms he was born with, which included difficulty walking and some visual deficits; however, after proper nutrition and physical therapy with his foster family, Scout can not only walk, but run, play, and bounce around like any typical puppy, but he is still considered Special Needs. Scout is housetrained (he'll even let you know when he has to go potty!), quiet/non-destructive when left alone, and sleeps through the night - what a good puppy! Like any Malinois, Scout does best when mentally and physically stimulated. He enjoys long walks with his foster family, playing with other dogs (he makes new friends easily), playing with toys, and participating in regular obedience training. Are you looking for an affectionate Mal puppy to play with, train, and then snuggle? Scout is the perfect dog for you! She’s super sweet and just wants affection.  She's food motivated and likes toys. She is pretty intense with other dogs but gets along fine as long as the other is tolerant of her crazy puppy energy. She will need someone very patient and experienced to help her thrive and gain confidence! She loves water and always tries to find a body of water to jump into! She will need a job, so she would do best with someone who is active and can put her to work with nose work or dock diving etc! She does much better with women! Whoa! Here comes Stryker! Still in his silly, sweet puppy stage Stryker is a handsome (approximately) 2 year old Belgian Malinois male. A good Samaritan traveling to FL found him wandering an interstate with no collar, and no tags. After Stryker jumped in his car the driver called MAD Rescue from the road! MAD volunteers immediately took him to a vet and scanned - No Chip either. He is neutred and UTD on all shots, and has completed his HW treatment. He is a typical Malinois wants to play, run, please his human and gladly sits for treats. Stryker's fosters reports while he is a joy; they are working on obedience and manners but he will need a new home that is willing to put in the work and have patience to continue to train him. Stryker does great in public and is non reactive to loud noises and loves meeting new people. He is both treat and toy motivated and is very handler focused. He's got a great nose and the foster thinks he'd really enjoy dog sports like Nose Work and Barn Hunt.  For their safety and your peace of mind; MAD incudes a martingale collar, tag and an activated Fi tracking collar with all rescues. The Fi tracking collar will remain activated for one year after which it becomes the obligation of the approved adopter to continue service. Tahoka is a beautiful one-year old Malinois who was pulled from a shelter. She has medium- high energy and would benefit from someone who will focus on training and appropriate physical exercise. She loves to train and use her brain and is very food-motivated. She is currently learning her foundational basics and is working on Sit, Down, Place, Come, Off, Wait, and Leave It. She is learning leash pressure and how to walk nicely on a leash. She has not been destructive and is not a big chewer. She is crate trained and loves her crate.  She enjoys the company of other well-matched dogs, but can be snarky or too much for some dogs. She has shown some mild barrier reactivity and needs someone with knowledge/resources on how to address her mild reactivity and not make it worse.  She would make a good hiking/running buddy. Overall she is rather stable and well-balanced for a young Malinois of unknown origins.  She is a very loving and sweet dog.   If you are interested in adopting this pet please complete an application at this link https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/24689/generic .  We are an official 501C3 organziation that does not have a physical location.
